Like the description and more info. say: "An additional episode was aired at the Clamp Festival 2012. It was later included in Blood-C: The Last Dark Limited Edition BD and DVD."
"First six episodes aired online between April 8 and May 28. Episode 7 aired at the Clamp Festival 2012."

but they didn't include it or even mention it in the main website nor put it in their youtube channel like the other 6 episodes ?!!
add to that I couldn't find anything about the 7th episodes on internet.. so I still think it's only 6 episodes.

http://myanimelist.net/anime/10627/Ski_Jumping_Pairs

Air date is: January 28, 2006.

I also propose to have the name changed to Ski Jumping Pairs: Road to Torino 2006.
Since this animated series is a part of a larger 'franchise'.
The order is:
1. Random net animations
2. Ski Jumping Pairs Official DVD (2002)
3. Ski Jumping Pairs 2 Official DVD (2004)
4. Ski Jumping Pairs 8 Official DVD (2005)
5. Ski Jumping Pairs ~ Road to TORINO 2006 ~ (2006)
6. Random animations on their official homepage
(they totally trick you into thinking you missed DVD 3-7 with that naming. Fits quite well in their parody-comedy series)

And by calling it 'Ski Jumping Pairs' it alludes that the entry is from #2 when it is really from #5.

Now I had a question. If the intro to #5 is in the database. Then shouldn't at least #2, #3, #4 be in here as well? Since they have the exact same animation type. I found the first half of #2 on NND and it's all animation.

Also, does that mean their other 'franchise', Japan World Cup, can be added as well?
http://www.amazon.co.jp/JAPAN-WORLD-CUP-1-DVD/dp/B008MTJG0G/ref=pd_cp_d_0
It's an interactive DVD from what I've figured.

Both are official animations though and released on DVD.
Thoughts?

No problem. I wasn't too hot about adding them either since I cannot find any solid source on what the DVD's credible history was.

And you actually shouldn't have changed the Duration. What was in the DB was correct. Since the animation is just 4 minutes of the movie and then the rest is live-action.
This breaks down the movie really well into what parts are how long: http://www.kinokuniya.co.jp/f/dsg-10-4988104033741
They add up to the correct runtime.

Also, the official Japanese title is: スキージャンプ・ペア ~Road to TORINO 2006~

Edit: yep, this movie won an award. Two actually. The Special Prize in the 18th Tokyo International Film Festival and the Special Prize at the 35th International Film Festival Rotterdam from what I'm seeing on their site: http://avexnet.or.jp/ski-jump/item/

I am not sure we can do such thing here. This are usually added with full duration, possible live-action sequences are not subtracted from total duration. And you can't put a movie name on it and still keep it as a movie trailer. Movie won an award, not a part of it.

In any case it might as well be removed from DB, as it doesn't really have any relation to anime in general.

That is a toughy. It's like trying to figure out if Who Framed Roger Rabbit fits in a cartoon database.

Well, it's up to you guys in the final stretch. But I thought it was here in the first place because it was classified as an anime since it was:

Professionally produced, animated works created:

in Japan for the Japanese market;

that just also happen to have live-action bits (as the movie came out after all the other animation DVDs). Well, Honey & Clover had a live-action OP thing and Trapeze certainly had a lot of live-action in it too and the DB guidelines only state that 'live action shows' will be denied which I assume is something that's 100% live-action.

Okay, so my Japanese is rusty and hopefully I got this right to warrant the changes.

http://myanimelist.net/anime/16169/Ai_Mai_Mi

For Ai Mai Mi, the English title should be removed since Crunchyroll uses the name "Ai-Mai-Mi" and that is not what the kana translates too anyway (kana explained later).

http://myanimelist.net/anime/509/I_My_Me!_Strawberry_Eggs
Main title should not have a space between the exclamation mark. And I believe there should not be an 's' on Eggs.

Since the Japanese title is あぃまぃみぃ!ストロベリー・エッグ we clearly have small ぃ instead of the normal sized い. The small one indicates it's a foreign word "I" where the large one indicates a domestic word "Ai" (not 'love' Ai but just a verbal pronunciation of Ai).
This changes the Ai to an Aii (or A~i if you want to follow Google translate) in the current synonym.

So it ends up being that the synonym title should be: Aii Maii Mii!Strawberry Egg instead of the current one. Since the current one gives a slightly incorrect pronunciation of what the hiragana actually says.

OK, Amazon links for the Blu-Rays to the other 4 volumes:

BD Vol 2

内容(「Oricon」データベースより)
ハジメテの吸血の相手は君。それが、俺の血意。テメェの血に従え。クールなのに熱過ぎるキャラクター達が巻き起こす、魔界的吸血アクション!!東魔界のナワバリボスを務めるブラッド・チャーリー・スタズは、人間の血よりもジャパニーズカルチャーが大好きという異端の吸血鬼。そんな彼のシマに、ある日、女子高生の柳冬実が迷い込んできて…。2話収録。

BD vol 3
….。2話収録。

Blu-Ray Volume 4:
BD vol 4
…。2話収録。

Blu-Ray Volume 5:
BD Vol 5
…。2話収録。
.

I guess we could wait until the series says final episode or such in the preview for episode 10 when episode 9 is airing or something else more definitive, but Amazon seems to be showing that for the 5 volumes, there are 2 episodes each on each volume. I am no expert on how accurate Amazon.jp listings are when it comes to episode counts. But if it is too early to say 10 episodes, then would be also be too early to say 12 episodes.

#5014 (lanblade) I corrected Ai Mai Mii entry for it to be inline with names of three heroines.
*Edit: But, hmm... i changed it back, as "あいまいみー" might not be related to girls names, but is an actuall title "Ai Mai Mi" with rough translation "The Ambiguous Me".
Would be good to hear someones else's opinion on this.

Romanization of "I My Me! Strawberry Eggs" included in the synonyms is actually might be a correct one after all.
I am not that fluent in this and would rather rely on how Wikipedia or AniDB romanized the titles in question, but judging from what i've found out myself:

small "ぃ" is used in correct pronunciation of (in this case) a foreign pronoun "Me" to sound like "M~e" (looks like not all kanji, kata, romaji, online converters recognize this cases and still write it to you like "Mii", unless i am understanding it wrong), not in actuall romanization where for it to become "Mii" it should end with "ー" (but for some reason it now contradicts with "Ai Mai Mi" entry, and both titles should have "Mii"), unless its a girls name and written in kanji where "イ" is used to indicate second "i".

Yeah--that's why I only requested the "I My Me" title to be removed or put into synonyms since みー doesn't in any way correspond to "Me" as a pronoun in which case they would follow Strawberry Egg's way of writing to show that and the extra 'i' is unneeded. None of my dictionaries indicate that ー can be used for foreign words. Also, the show itself shows how it's supposed to be written.

As for "The Ambiguous Me" title, this is most likely an online translator slip. Since they series itself shows that the "mi" is spelled "mi" and not "me" as in the pronoun so the possible title of The Ambiguous Me is void.

Maybe because it's early in the morning but I am having trouble following your reply on this.

What I see in the picture that you linked is that みぃ is spelled 'mii'. Which agrees with what I said in the original post that the name should be Aii Maii Mii!Strawberry Egg instead of the current one in there with 'mi'. And I'm then applying the same to 'ai' and 'mai' since they too have ぃ.
If it was spelled みい then it would be spelled 'mi' just like how あい is spelled 'ai' and まい is spelled 'mai'.

Side note, the space after the exclamation mark and the 's' in the main title still need to be fixed at least. Since the original Japanese title doesn't have that space and エッグ is singular 'egg'.
If they wanted plural 'eggs' then it would be spelled エッグズ.

Hmm, it's still written with the space on the official page, bandai and allcinema, but some other sources like Wikipedia, Pixiv, doesn't use the space indeed.

Main title is actually a synonym and should be changed to "Ai Mai Mi! Strawberry Egg" at some point.

Which agrees with what I said in the original post that the name should be Aii Maii Mii!Strawberry Egg instead.

All 3 pages you linked don't have the space either.
Try to highlight the 'space' after the exclamation mark.
It's not possible. An English-y "!" is not used but rather the Japanese-y "!" so it looks like there is a space when there actually isn't one. The exclamation mark is actually right next to ス. The optical illusion of the stylized font makes it look like there is one but there's not.

But, should be there probably a reason why no other english source follows your logic?

Probably because this show is 12 years old and one person most likely submitted the romanized name and all other sites just did the normal aggregation of data from one source. Heck, I've seen a full on Japanese name used incorrect on here, ANN, and AniDB before as all 3 had the exact same wrong kana and had to request the correct change on all three sites. After-all, MAL even requests links to AniDB and Manga-updates database entries so as to confer the that data is correctly duplicated.

lanblade, Interesting. I see, it's an optical illusion indeed, as looks like with a lot of Japanese punctuation, an extra half-width space (it still counts as one “letter”) is added for a sentence to look less crowded with no actuall space used after punctuation.

But looking at other titles, say (Mamotte! Lollipop) in DB without an actuall space after an exclamation mark in japanese title, I would assume that MAL do add a full-width space following romanization guidelines (otherwise it would look strange?). Also, here is japanese source with added space. Some seems to view it as a separate sentence.

Another logo on the official art
does separate it too (I My Me! *My Strawberry Eggs*)

one person most likely submitted the romanized name and all other sites just did the normal aggregation of data from one source

Damn, I cant even find any arguing topics about the proper romanization of this title elsewhere on the internet.

It's whatever font that is. A series like Durarara!! actually uses the English-y "!" as opposed to the other. It becomes a question then of whether the romanized title stays true to the character format of the original, or if it has to be changed for aesthetic value at which point shouldn't there be a space on BOTH sides of the exclamation mark since the character takes up space equally?

But I feel like with either one chosen, an amendment to the Guidelines should be made so anyone else coming in can know immediately the format/there is a uniform regulation amongst mods on how to treat yes?no spacing.

I mean, I'm still waiting for the Promos guidelines to be ironed out from the terrible inconsistencies.

But looking at other titles, say (Mamotte! Lollipop) in DB without an actuall space after an exclamation mark in japanese title, i would assume that MAL do add a full-width space following romanization guidelines (otherwise it would look strange?).

The lack of space doesn't look strange to me personally.

Yes, some do but that's just somebody's blog. We already established the the legitimate official pages don't have it.

Another logo on the official art

Does official art in the form of a fun looking sticker on a Japanese DVD cover in English have standing on the naming format.
Or does the actual written Japanese name on the official websites have standing on the naming format.

It's one or the other.

If the former, then I My Me! *Strawberry Eggs* would be the main title. But I don't think the DB search handles asterisks so the title would end up being I My Me!: Strawberry Eggs (based on other series that have asterisks and ~) and the asterisks becomes a colon and that space is shifter further.

If the latter, then I My Me!Strawberry Egg would be the main title. Indicating that the Japanese written there is a singular form of egg and that no space exists between the reclamation mark character.

Damn, i cant even find any arguing topics about the proper romanization of this title elsewhere on the internet.

Well, since it's just the synonym both can exist.

Can a mod upload the higher quality possible of the main key? I guess it lost a lot of quality when I uploaded it myself.

#5033 (Shadow-Chan). They are resized automatically. 45,33 Kb Vs yours 43,83Kb is the best I could get with the poster you provided. Uploading already resized (225x318 with 89Kb quality) image results in the same lower quality. It's good enough anyway.

UnbornMVs, Tokyo ESP submission was denied due to a lack of details in initial announcement. So, it will not be added until more specific information is announced.

There is a thread right next to this one where you usually can look for reasons if you noticed an entry went missing.

Shoujo-ai should be removed.

According to MAL: "Shoujo Ai - Anime whose central theme is about a relationship (or strong affection, not usually sexual) between two girls or women. Shoujo Ai literally means "girl love"."

Personally, I felt that the series didn't focus on the relationship aspect all that much as the main focus was the sex (hence why it has the yuri and hentai). Kinda like how Naruto has romance but it's not so prevalent that you can ID it as a genre.
