| Amazing first episode. As a fan of Slam Dunk I can say I like that Kuroko is a point guard rather than another "Rukawa". I loooove the way he can mess with people's minds so easily and can't wait to see his development throughout the series. I SERIOUSLY hope the anime lasts way more than 12-13 eps. Episode one from Kuroko no Basket is the stand out first episode from any anime this season. I wasn't disappointed during any of it. I can only hope it lasts long enough for us to get a good fill of it :) 5/5 |
| I love having a main character who is good at handling the ball, rather than simply being the golden boy. Taiga is pretty cool as well. I just hope the rest of the team is up to snuff both skillwise and character wise. I'd watch it for the two freshmen alone, but I'd much prefer to have an interest in the rest of the team as well. |

I think the other 3 starters will be 2nd + 3rd years. Luckily we won't need to put up with the awful play of all the other first years. | Great first episode, really liking Kuroko no Basket. The art is very appealing to me and the characters are great, though the two main characters remind me of Oga and Furuichi from Beelzebub a lot lol. xD Pretty cheesy how Kuroko said he's the 'shadow', nevertheless it was still cool. Him being able to make ridiculously fast passes is awesome. Kagami is one beast lmao. He really is like the Oga of Kuroko no Basket. Kagami and Kuroko, I can see them as an awesome duo. :D OP was awesome as well. Overall really enjoyed this first episode. Looking forward to more of this Anime. 5/5 |

| This looks like a fun shounen. Kuroko is a horrible basketball player, but an interesting main character. I like his supporting role in the team, and his lack of any other skills leaves room for development. I'm not sure how this will fare in the basketball department though, as it looks like Kuroko and Taiga will overshadow the rest of the team. Slam Dunk's matches were good (for the most part) because the entire team played their roles well. |

| to bad i read the manga since ch 50 but stopped when saw the adaptation but still read random chapters :O now i know what happens but still was a great first episode really enjoyed the animation was pretty good and lol i like the blue hair kid :O i have a high expectation and so far didn't made me doubt hope will keep it like this |

| I'm completely caught up on the manga and this adaptation is fucking amazing. I'll be sad if it's only a 12 or 13 episode anime. This was the anime I was anticipating the most for this season. Period. And it did not disappoint. Can't wait to see Kuroko use And hopefully they animate far enough to show Kuroko learn Oh, and as other people have said in this discussion, the music was fucking awesome too. The OP and the song that played during the game against the 2nd years were standouts for me. |

| Awesome ! my favorite first episode this season for now ! I liked both Kuroko and Taiga .. especially Kuroko impressive animation for passing and "catchy" music that is very suited to this type of anime Can't wait to see the other "generation of miracles" players already ! opening was really great too : ) |

| To be honest, i hesitated a little in starting this sow. I mean, how can Basketball be interesting at all? im more into the fantasy stuff. But im glad i did end up watching it. The artork was amazing, and it has it's funny parts too. Im also left curious about the character's backstory. Why is kuroko a so called, "Shadow"? And Kuroko/Kagami is now my new OTP of this show :D |

| O_o No fanservice? well, at least no fanservice for guys ^^ (if topless bishounen count as fanservice of girls! ^o^) +1 No mini-skirt big boobs coach !! +1 No moe girls players! +1 No stupids girls for fanservice only around (well, at least in ep1) +1 No junior high players looking as adults (ie Prince of Tennis, even if I liked the anime it's still disturbing to think there are less than 14!!) but players looking around their age +1 Comedy +1 Probably (hope?) no stupid drama (ie Area no Kishi) +1 Restaurant chat +1 Bishounen ^_^ +1 Probably a lot of good doujins +1 ... 10/10? maybe just because I fell refresh after the horrible moe/ecchi fanservice I saw before! This season is really not as bad as I thought! (even if there is no shounen-ai series, again -_-) Uchuu Kyoudai, Kuroko no Basket, Sakamichi no Apollon (still waiting for it, but josei = big hope!), Shirokuma Cafe (funny for now), Kimi to Boku 2 (fell even better than the first season), Furusato Saisei (cute and can help me of my lessons) |

| I really liked this first episode and it felt pretty fast for me. I haven't watched many sports animes - this being my second. My first was Area no Kishi which I like. But I'm a bigger fan of basketball than soccer. Watching this makes me want to read the manga now. Does anyone know where to buy it or if it can be found online? I hope there's a translation for it. |
