| When I found out it's made by the same guy who made Chainsaw Man, I was scared it may be just another p0rn addict bait. Well, good thing it wasn't. I've already watched Perfect Blue and Paranoia Agent, so I know how to handle these kinds of works. You have to go beyond your imagination. Don't try to make sense out of it, you're watching through the eyes of the delusional MC. Works like these, where the line between the real world and the movie-being-shot is unclear, tend to remind us that we shouldn't get too obsessed with fictional creation for it may affect you, instead of you affecting the story. It was a flaming pile of garbage and a masterpiece at the same time. I liked it. |

| I haven't been that disappointed in a while. I guess most of the hype comes from Chainsaw fanatics (not making this up, try finding a review not mentioning it). The only interesting part was the "manga adaptation of a movie that doesn't exist" aspect, but that idea was mostly expressed as boring panelling. |

| The Eri movie could actually be the best movie sequel ever if the school's reactions are anything to go by lol If there were ever a manga panel worthy of a standing ovation, the final pinch of fantasy is definitely up there. Absolutely nailed it. |
