| Only SAC and 2nd Gig are directly related to each other, and even like that you don't necessarily need to watch them by order. They are all separate and unrelated stories, on the same universe, same characters and sometimes same stories, but you can follow them anyway. Also, it does not matter that you don't want to Search, we had a thread exactly like this two weeks ago AND there is a forum just for GitS that you could look at. |

| This might be considered off topic, but Ghost in the Shell: Innocence is an excellent movie. I've seen some episodes of the Ghost in the Shell, but it doesn't really interest me. |

| The 1995 GitS movie is sooooo good. Very cerebral film, and not pretentious at all. I thought the sequel film was a bit too forward with all of the quotes and philosophizing, whereas the 1995 film did it right. It's definitely a groundbreaking film, too - one of the top anime films, for sure - and a very good film, period. |
