THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Nyanko-sensei got lost and met two kids, who think that he is "tanuki" and in the middle of shopping. They keep crying and Nyanko-sensei have to go and help them until they find their mother. lol @ ED with "Hennna Oji-san" rhythm. |

I think I forgot that I was watching an OVA and not an actual episode that is part of a story arc. This OVA definitely did have a side story/filler aspect to it. Seeing some nostalgic faces was nice, but I really wanted to see more interactions centered around Natsume. But don't get me wrong, Nyanko-sensei's interactions with the two kids were adorable. I like how it portrayed more Youkai/Human relationship-sort-of thing. It was very repetitive and I have no doubt they used the same footage over and over, but I could never get enough of that one moment: "Oi, hito no ko." "Nanimono da!" xD Nicely wrapped up as always. I would have liked to see the kids parents respond to what they said about the "tanuki" haha xD I just want more feels. No doubt it had Natsume's very light and laid-back flow. So I'm guessing this is warm-up for a new season right? :D |

Volumes come out twice a year, and there is currently not really enough content for another season of anime. |

Okay, that was adorable. I'm glad to see everyone again, the animation was so well done, and I loved the comedic scenes with Nyanko-sensei, as always. |

They've made 4 seasons with the content of the first 51 chapters I believe. The latest chapter now is 66. So there should be more than enough material to cover another season. Let's just hope they will get to make it soon ! |

I loved the fact that we got to see so many known faces. And Natsume's classmates "He'll be back for lunch" :XD He's gote quite the (well deserved) reputation ! The kids annoyed me, but Nyanko's reactions to them were funny. XD |

Actual kid voices, well i'll be damned. Cute special, I missed Nyanko's antics. I'm glad it this was more of a comedic thing because the other OVA had me bawling. So that was a nice balance for me. |

Haha Nyanko-sensei is hilarious as always. I chuckled a few times through the OVA. Agreed though that it was a little repetitive and they probably did use the same footage, but it was still fun. I love how we get to see many of the other characters, like how Nyanko-sensei met some of the youkai, or how Natsume met his friends while searching for Nyanko-sensei. Even Natori showed up. parfaited said: I'm glad it this was more of a comedic thing because the other OVA had me bawling. Oh good thing I chose to watch this one first then since I don't want to wake up with puffy eyes in the morning! |

This reminded me of the episode where he helps the little girl that fell in a ravine. It was a cute and funny episode. |

A fun little side adventure with Nyanko-sensei, lots of laughs when he's around. It felt a bit awkward at times though, like the characters weren't completely true to themselves. Nyanko's char design was a bit strange too. A solid 7/10, nowhere on the same level as the main series but still enjoyable. |

How did these kids even survive to see that day? I mean, they would've given Timmy a run for his money. |

That Touko and Madara scene was so cute. I don't remember seeing Madara interact with Touko much. I lol'd when the kid stomped on thing Hinoe was making. Overall it was a relaxful episode. |

This, unfortunately, is probably the weakest Natsume Yuujinchou episode of all. It's annoyingly repetitive and the plot is blatantly uninteresting. 4/10 |

the kids repeating where they wanted to go, throwing the thing, and then crying for the 2nd and third times was where i severely started to dislike this, on the other hand, seeing Madara eff around so hard just to get some kids back home was effing hilarious. |

Don't know...I kind of didn't like this episode. I was so annoyed with the ever-repeating animation and kids saying same shit, exactly the same way. I was annoyed and I was physically hurt watching this...yuck...cringe... |

This episode seems to solely exist to satisfy a "Pakurin choco" sponsorship, rather than because there's any sort of interesting story to tell. The episode is repetitive, tedious and unfunny and the children are incredibly annoying to endure for an entire episode. This shouldn't exist, and I actively regret watching it. 4/10 |
