| I kinda like Mado more here than I did in the anime. He's creepy but cool. You know, you can't really blame the people there for treating ghouls as if they aren't human -- they're not. They live by devouring people; there's no way around it. It makes sense that every ghoul needs eliminated. I doubt the CCG even knows there are ghouls that live more "purely" by eating only those who were already dead (i.e. suicide victims). Even if they did, there's still the risk that they'll begin killing humans to live instead. Interesting how this conflicts with the currently airing anime, Parasyte. |

| They looked really cute in their disguises. Too bad they won't get a lot of opportunities to prep up like that again anytime soon. The CCG not minding the killing of defenseless Ghouls and children due to their potential of being a threat and necessity to eat human flesh was pretty messed up especially with how casual she said that. Mado's on to them, oh shit. |

| Good chapter. This was definitely not included in the anime so I enjoyed the new information especially about the RC gate. I wonder why the chapter is called White Gate. Maybe in reference to white doves? I love Kaneki's hair in this. Overall, black hair Kaneki just looks better in the manga than the anime. One thing that bothers me about this series is the world concept. Why are the human people in this world so content with the idea that ghouls aren't humans and deserve to be exterminated? They look, talk, and think like humans. They have feelings and form bonds like humans. I don't believe it's a difficult concept for the people in TG world to sympathize with ghouls. But then again, if it were that easy I guess there wouldn't be a plot lol. |
