| This episode was absoubly heartbreaking and sweet. I cried so hard when Ushio was in Tomoya's arms and when he was was describing Nagisa. I couldn't hold back. It is impossible to. Best episode from an anime that I have EVER seen! |

| damn i had teary eyes here but i had 3 tears drop before on another episode. the reason might be that i am re-watching so i knew what would happen but the story is really good and still touching. |

Doesn't everything seem settled? What could the remaining episodes be about? I also didn't understand the method to her madness. I too think it was a bit risky to tell a 5 year not to cry or cry in private. Children need to be comforted when they are young, it's healthy and dismissive to make a child cry by themselves.So I am a irritate with Sanae. Too bad it wasn't explained further. But other than that I am very happy with this episode. 10/ Edit: I rescind my comment about Sanae after watching episode 19. Her scene was really heartbreaking. |

And of course, the scene with Tomoya and Ushio.. Devastating, really. |

| By far, the best episode in the series and the first episode to score a 5/5 from me so far. Almost cried, but the episode ended... However, I finally do understand why peoples' lives are changed after watching this show. It portrays an interesting, yet realistic situation. | My favourite episode of Clannad so far. I cried basically the whole episode. Hearing about how Tomoya's father tried so hard for him and then Tomoya and Ushio crying together, and then when Tomoya told Ushio about Nagisa - all of it was so perfectly done. |

| Cute scene with both of them crying. But I really can't stand the seiyuu voicing Ushio. I don't know, maybe it's because a several year old girl is voiced by a 42-year-old? Sure, Tomoya said something about her being boyish or sth but my mind doesn't agree with a little girl's kawaii image and a boyish voice. |

| I'm so glad Tomoya's grandmother opened his eyes and made him realize what a great man his father was. They're so much alike. I cried during the scene with Ushio and Tomoya in the field. "Sanae said I can only cry in the bathroom...and daddy's arms." OMGosh, I couldn't hold it! I'm so glad they're together now! It was sad when he cried during the story of him and Nagisa on the train with Ushio. I'm glad he finally got the courage to spend time with his daughter. |

| Oh man, what a touching episode this was. I almost cried, almost. But it was a happy episode. I knew through the entire series Tomoya is way too hard on his old man, and I'm ecstatic he finally realizes that himself. The Fuko story is still the only one to make me outright cry, though this episode and Misae's story brought me pretty close. After Story is an 8/10 so far for me. |

| By far, by far, by far the best episode of the whole series up to this point. It's the most I've felt for what's happened in the show since the start, including Nagisa's death. The whole series I'd been waiting to find out about his father, they finally did it, and delivered the goods. Great episode, hands down my favourite part in the series, it'll be hard to top this IMO. |

| Undoubtedly the best episode in the Clannad Series, and by an outrageous margin. I dont want to like Clannad, nor its After Story, but I can not deny its one of the greats. This episode alone makes the entire series worth it. One of the strongest episodes ever, but as a True Dragon Ball/DBZ Fan, the title for me will always belong to their episodes, in particular 191 (Save the World). Oh and the emotional Power Level here is insane, which in my case include unending fits of tears. |

Please don't let it go downhill from here, although I doubt it. The most emotional and powerful episode that I've seen in any anime that I've watched. 10/10. |

We all know that feeling, episode 18 also crushed me. If it goes downhill from here on out, it really depends on your point-of-view of the anime. To me, personally, it didn´t. |
