| Thoughts on the episode as I was watching: -Turns out I totally misinterpreted the Kotori letter in episode 9, and it was a present-day event rather than a distant future event -When they were discussing which songs to perform at the festival, all the members' faces were clearly visible when Honoka stood up to speak except for Kotori's, which was hidden behind Honoka. This little animation decision actually fit the hidden tension in the room pretty well. -The still of Yukiho and the Otonokizaka pamphlet was pretty impactful since it served as a testament of how far μ's has gotten since the beginning of the season. -The choice to perform No Brand Girls as the opener also ties into the previous thing, and the theme of progress was pretty prominent in this episode. This was made most evident through the increased visibility of μ's first fans and Honoka's observation of the similarity between the festival concert and the orientation concert. This episode was pretty good, and seeing Honoka overexert herself made me feel exhausted. It was kind of interesting how they didn't reveal what was in the letter in the episode, but I think the point of doing that was more so that the episode would focus on Honoka's drive to succeed rather than Kotori. Thinking back on the episode and taking into account Kotori's reaction toward Honoka's ideas, this was probably also the reason that Kotori decided to delay her announcement until after the show. Come to think of it, even in previous episodes, there are a bunch of little decisions like this that can contribute significantly to viewer interpretation of an episode. |

| I got upset when random clubs got the auditorium even if they didn't really need it. Tea club? Seriously? Looks like Honoka's Rocky-like training backfired. I've never seen such lethal and instant cold/flu symptoms. Besides, it's dark and raining. So dramatic! D: Not sure what will happen next. Maybe she'll have a miracle recovery thanks to nakama power? Maybe the rest of the girls will keep singing without her? Perhaps Honoka's fainting will become viral and everyone will appreciate her herculean efforts anyway? On the other hand, it seems that Kotori will leave the school to study abroad or something. I hope I'm wrong. |

| They made it to the top 20! Despite such an achievement, it only meant that they have to work harder to maintain their rank. Honoka needs more petting ♥ Kotori is considering going abroad and Honoka forced herself to work out in the rain too much... When she started running, I kept saying no in despair only for my fears to be realized when they successfully sang No Brand Girls :'( The song was a reminder on how Muse started their first live with just 9 people in the audience and how far they've gone. They even decided to watch under the deluge just for Muse. I hope they'll be alright... |

| Kotori got some opportunity from over seas as it seams, possibly study oversea but after the stunt Honoka pulled she will probably change her mind cause of one reason or the other probably cause she doesn't want to live from Sick Honoka's side |

| Why the fuck does the calligraphy club need the auditorium? μ's should've raid the place and perform there instead. Oh god, and of course Honoka had to screw everything up. Edit: CR subs said "calligraphy" while subs from a pirate site said "tea". I've seen people practicing both things, but I find it weird that both sites use different terms |

| Still hurts af seeing Honoka like that even if im just rewatching this series, fuck. She's so motivated that she forgots to took care of herself and noticed the people around her : ( It shows that shes not a perfect leader that shes just a human like us that can make mistakes and have her own flaws, one of the reason why shes my favorite. |

| Dumb Ho. What did she think would happen after getting drenched in rain for hours? Doesn't she know the laws of nature in anime? Of course she fell ill the very next day and ruined not just their concert but even the future of the school. SAD. |

| it's obviously not enough for me to stop liking Honoka (she is one of the best girls), but holy shit, people told her to go to sleep "you can't get sick" and instead she decides to go run on the rain to make sure she gets sick? for real? lmao also, why the rooftop? couldn't they do it on the school ground near the entrance or something? |

| Honestly I'm surprised Honoka managed to make it through the whole song, I thought for sure she'd pass out halfway through. I see a lot of people mad at Honoka here for getting herself sick, but if anything I'm more mad at how she and Kotori treated eachother, like Honoka being too focused on Love Live and not letting Kotori speak, and Kotori being too focused on that letter and not seeing Honoka's efforts till the end of the episode and Umi got stuck in the middle of it. Either way, the preview for the next episode made things look a whole lot better. |
| Seeing Honoka overworking as an idol broke my heart. She practices and runs even though it is raining. The passion put into being an idol and making the show a success can be felt in the whole episode. Sadly these actions has consequences at the end. Also, Kotori had the opportunity to go oversea and haven't told Honoka yet because she is too focused in the idol show. I'm afraid of watching the next episode but I'm sure it will all be resolved. |
