| Now that's how you do an ending. It was satisfying to come back full circle, the girls make one last appearance + they actually do something to help him out in return. I didn't expect anything else for such a short and stupidly fun series. It definitely would have dragged on if it kept going. The scene where Kintarou was looking at the workstations - I'm sure the animators preferred drawing the desks clean than actually doing it haha. |

| Love it, all the girls he's met so far helped him out with the final episode. Study, Study, STUDY! I actually didnt think the anime would be this good, the comedy is so well done The sexualized theme actually does it justice instead of all the other ecchi shows that have come after and are still coming out. 10/10 - Golden Gem :) |

| It’s a pretty funny series, I would try to read the manga but a lot of people are saying to me to not touch it and to pretend it doesn't exist, so I'm not sure anymore xD |

| Kintaro is inspiring, always eager to learn new things, never giver up, stays positive. I wish I were like him... Absolutely enjoyed every episode, ofc some moments were questionable, but overall-good! |

| It's kind of disappointing. the anime is full of different fetish like toilet fetish, bike masturbating, spit eating, ass leaking etc. People actually liked is so much!!! (score of 8...lol) it's not bad per say, but its not very good either |

| The only episode I kinda liked. Yes, filled with contrived and cheesy writing but still enjoyable to some extent. I also liked how meta it all got during certain moments. In general, this set of OVAs wasn't really of my enjoyment. Girls were quite shallow as characters and though Kintarou is actually a good guy, his horny personality was way too cringey for my taste. I also didn't like the comedy and the ecchi was mostly meh to my eyes. Scenes with Reiko touching herself in episode 5 are the exception tho. 3/10 - Episodes 3 and 6 were the only decent ones and Ayuko remains as the hottest girl in my book. |
| unapologetic power fantasy for men that I wished I enjoyed more because I like unapologetic power fantasy for men . it´s not boring, but could have been more creative and funnier. And Noriko is underrated. |

Exactly my thoughts! :D I found most of the humor very cheap and boring, but 3rd and 6th episodes had some merit to them. |

| Kin-chan has some hard toilet fetish. Wouldn't be surprised if he's into scat as well. Ironic that the episode about animation is the last episode of this anime. Wish there were more episodes. It's short but sweet. I loved that all the girls from the previous returned in the last episode! Epic crossover. My favorite girl is probably Noriko-chan. |
| Eh, I didn't think Golden Boy was as funny as other people seem to, and the story was kinda meh, but I did like this ending. I was happy to see the different subplots coming all together. |

| Ah, we have come to the end of a series again, first of all, this episode contained a nice criticism against the overly strict and heavy working conditions of animators and people in the anime industry in general, so it earned an extra point for me here, apart from that, throughout the episode, Kintarou's asking for help from the people he left a trace in his life and their reunion made me feel very nostalgic, it was nice, it was nice, and the anime gave the message it wanted to give beautifully: "STUDY, STUDY, STUDY", not to give up no matter what and that everything can be achieved in a short time with the power of belief and hard work. |

| Now that i rewatched the full series for probably the 4th time, i should have decided that this is the favorite episode, ironically the one not adapted from the manga (read only one volume of the following story a long time ago and it was way darker than the animated series) and the one that goes full meta in the world of animators, straight up telling the audience how harsh the environment is without edulcorating the pill and having a cameo of its own creator. Watching the return all the previous main characters of the episodes before and being helpful to Kintaro in different roles was wonderful... but Chie is my favorite, possibly even more pure, sweet and innocent than Noriko, and it helps that in italian dub she's voiced by the same actress of Sailor Moon / Tsukino Usagi, met in real life in the summer of 2014. Overall, Golden Boy never stops to be a fun nostalgic experience, despite being too short. |

| it was great to see all the girls come back in this last episode and help kintaro. kintaro once more proved he's the most chad mc of all time. great episode. i really liked how behind all this adult comedy and ecchi there were subtle lessons hidden and how it managed to show us that kintaro is a great man. overall 9/10. |

| Kinda iconic how the last episode was about making anime, really happy how all previous episode female characters had their own small roles inside this one but then again, maybe it was meant to be this short of a series. Kintaro is one of the most interesting and bizzarely beloved characters I've met in comedy animes, kinda great to see him still hold study philosophy after everything he had already seen during his travels around Japan Imagine if these series had 15-20 episodes, this could've been such an legendary comedy anime, maybe even the greatest, but now with 6 episodes and only half of them being really great, just doesn't let me to enjoy this whole expierence as much as I wanted. In the end its a great try and truly iconic piece of 90s anime |

| Didn't know we were going to get lewd shirobako for the last episode, and they did indeed bring everybody back for such an event. Pretty crazy, made even crazier by watching the dub. Best girl? There's tits and ass flying everywhere (although actually quite calm in that regard for this episode), best girl would have to be the girl we met this episode, Chie. Was surprisingly quite wholesome at times, as was this episode. Easy 6.9. Very interesting indeed, but wish it went even more crazy ngl. |
