I just need to know, do you guys find HxH's OST good or is it misused or what? Because it just seems that only old HxH fans seem to complain so I wanna know if that's the case?

it ruins the mood, they should have thrown away all those previous arc osts and used new ones

I've heard some new viewers remark (negatively) on the OST (mostly placement) before, alongside the 1999 fans.
I personally think it's gotten a bit better (+ I've gotten used/attached to it), but once in a while there's a track that makes me want to bang my head on my desk. (once YS started, it was mainly kusari yarou)

New fan here: never heard any problem with the OST. I specially loved the new ending and how it ties with good cliffhanger moments (like after Gon punched Hisoka).

I love the Phantom Troupe theme (that plays when they are in the destroyed church) and the Hisoke theme. Just like Hisoka (that dresses like a silly joker), it has nothing frightening about it (spanish flamenco), but because of the moments it plays... it just works, you know?

It hasn't bothered me at all, I actually like it, it seems a more epic from what I remember of the past series. But then again I haven't seen the old version in like 3 years.

I will probably rewatch the old version when the new one has caught up, and I will compare them a little.

Kusari Yarou was like a wtf for me the first time I heard it, but imo it fits Kurapika, I'm liking it now. The other OST are good, got used to them. The ones I liked from the first time and thought they fit with the moments are Dirge from the Dark:

and Sono Kyoukan, Ryoryoku Zetsurin:

I think anyone can get used to the OSTs if he just tried to. Either way, we'll probably get a new set of OSTs in like 4-5 episodes.
