How to Watch One Piece Without Filler

These style of series are long, and require patience to enjoy the full concept. So I always recommend watching them full through, that being said there is ENORMOUS utility in a list that skips filler. Maybe this is my fifth watch through, or I'm introducing the show to a group of friends and they can watch the filler on their own time, maybe my life style doesn't allow for me to invest the hours it takes to watch close to a thousand episodes. Stop arguing about the necessity of the list and contribute to helping improve the post.
Having this been the first hit on google I'm sure it has at least a few thousand views. I recommend editing the already awesome original post to include grouping the filler and cannon arcs by name as well as episode #, adding where main cannon characters are introduced (incase someone is trying to jump back into watching the show they make for good mental check points). Thanks again for the great list.

Still there is some awesome anime fillers worth watching :3

I personally don't like the Goat Pirate Captain episodes not to mention the unbearable Rainbow Mist arc which Is painful to watch. Boss Luffy is also a filler that doesn't go well with me :|

But still there is awesome Fillers like Sabo's story though I think it's mostly cannon :3

The rest of the series is a REAL piece of work. The writers throw in implied filler to drag out the episodes as well as slow pacing. If this bothers you, the manga is very fast paced and not dragged out. I dont know how anyone can watch this anime anymore. Manga is so much better.

You'll notice that One Piece rarely has much filler arcs compared to Bleach where everything is half and half. Most of the filler arcs in OP are tolerable but some <Rainbow Mist/Zenny> are just bad. G8 is by far the best filler arc in OP.

Hey,

Thank you so much doing this! i watched your guide since episode 1.
I'm now at episode 303 and there is a filler, but you didn't tell the reason why i shouldn't skip the filler or watch it like you mostly do on other fillers.
Any reason behind it? is it a good filler?

The problem with this series is even non "filler" the episodes are still dragged out. Adding to that the first 7m is basically recap.

Whenever they finish this series I hope they remake it in the future and cut out all the clutter.

It could easily be condensed to like 200 episodes or even less.

I'm literally click skipping through episodes just to get to the interesting parts. Few and far between unfortunately.

200 episodes or less? lol Are you serous considering the manga is nearly 800 chapters. I don't think thats possible. Maybe like 500 episodes or so would be reasonable size with out all the clutter.

I find this list to be good as the writer has initiated the process very well...The writer has used watch and skip process which makes it easy to recognize the fillers. I hope you will also find the list to be good.

I really wish they one day release a no "dragging and stretching irrelevant scenes" version, a remaster, if you will. So much quality arcs diluted by useless trash, especially after the time skip.
