| I really hope both versions get subbed :<, there is the limited edition and the regular. The limited gives 40 more minutes of movie that makes it rounded to about 2 and a half hours of K-ON to fap to :'D ( jk ). But yeah let's hope that gets subbed over the regular first. |

| I guess you are all misunderstanding the Limited Edition. From how I understand the ANN article, the movie itself is the same in both editions, it's just the limited edition contains 140 minutes of additional extra material, which is nevertheless not the movie itself. But if it turns out that there will really be two versions of the movie - why would anyone want to watch or sub the shorter one? For the sake of completeness. For much of the same reasons that both original and extended editions of The Lord of the Rings movie trilogy are in circulation, and Star Wars fans eagerly desire re-releasing the untouched editions from 70s and 80s. |

The point is that I am studying Japanese, and I do understand quite a bit, but by no means enough to watch the whole movie raw. But with Google Translate's subs I might be able to get enough of an idea what a line is about. |

| Yes, so would thier ratings suggest. I wonder how long an actual English translation will take. I remember there was a subbed camrip for the Haruhi movie, and someone just put those subs on the raws the day it came out, but I guess that hasn't happened here. Getting my hopes up for today was a mistake, I guess. |
| Maybe people don't feel like doing moe after so much moe the last few years. Though K-ON was one of the first shows doing it in such a extensive way if I'm right. Or maybe Haruhi was just more popular. Or they are waiting for the BD raw to show up. I'm actually just making something up, I have no idea. |
| I think you should actually try watching it raw. It is a really great way to practice your language skills - and K-On isn't really that demanding linguistically. Just try, you may get surprised about how much you'll actually understand :) |

| I think everyone needs to calm down a little XD. The movie just came out like today. And there are no BD raws yet. Translating the entire movie will take time, and some groups are probably waiting for the BD. I would wait at least a week before speculating there is no interest or something. |

It is a little hilarious to think "there's no interest in K-On". It has one of the biggest fan bases I've ever seen. |

Of course I did miss a good amount of the dialogue, but watching it as it is now and a second time with subtitles in a few days is the best way to go about it. |

| I get it now. Fansub needs nice quality raw to subbed( which usually come from DVD). And the interval between the airing date and the DVD release is more than a half year. That's explain why K-ON Movie subs are sprouting this months. |
| There is like 2 weeks delay in my recent reading list I randomly bought discount/second hand manga with cute/mysterious cover.  Use Personal Blacklist extension in Chrome if you just want to Google for a series synopsis, without google slapping MAL score in it. 3/1 |

There was the case where Mazui subbed the camrip version of the Haruhi movie which was sort of tilted on one side but slightly watchable still xD Most groups however, aren't willing to go that far any more. So they are waiting for the BD before subbing it. There are now two (1838Kbps and 35.4Mbps) 1080p BD rips out now btw... so it shouldn't be long now for subs to actually be released in excellent quality. |
