| Finally decided to give it a go. It was quite an impressive beginning, however I can't help saying that it's only from the perspective of the skin. I'll watch more to see whether the core is also as impressive. |

| The beginning is enigmatic, but I already know that during the anime series, sooner or later will win the solution to this mystery. Narration pretty raw and somewhat funny lines, the characters are a whole program; designs, backdrops and excellent animation, ditto the OST. Reviewing this anime, it provokes in me memories of the fabulous' 90s and beyond. |

| Finally decided to give this a try after being in my ptw list for like 4 years. What I can say for right now: I really like the jazz soundtrack, especially the opening. The directing in the action scenes was quite nice and I like the overall style. I may have wished for a better character introduction, but I`m all in all excited to watch more of it. |

| I actually started this years ago on DVD when there were 4 episodes on a disc and they cost £20 each and ended up giving up buying it half way through since it was so expensive! Gave up on a lot back then. I did actually buy it again on bluray and DVD the other year but never got around to it then started recording it off TV this time LOL! The first episode still holds up and is an incredible ride!!! I adored it! The characters and premise are set up beautifully and already a ton of action! I love Spike Spiegel <3 |

| Welp just starting to watch the show that everyone recommends. It has a certain jazzy oldie vibe about it, kinda like Trigun or R.O.D., that makes it different from other anime. Also already liking the characters. I’m interested in seeing where this is going. |

| Watching Cowboy Bebop for the first time during its 20th anniversary. Coming to this years after watching Samurai Champloo, which was one of my first anime. I'm a bit unjustly late, though, since I was recently spoiled to one character's fate. |

| Very good start. Nice and atmospheric music, beautiful art direction and unusually good animation. I have some issues with how things play out, like the fact Spike randomly meets with his prey (unless I'm to assume the magic stuff actually holds ground). Also, I don't think you just have to put up a nice hat and sit on a bench waiting for your guy to approach you. Overall, too convenient for my taste. Still, a solid episode that sets the mood well enough. 4/5 |

| It's so weird watching a dub after exclusively watching subs for over 100 shows. From the bits and pieces I have slowly gathered of this show, I believe I know what the first minute is referring to, but I'll hold back to prevent spoilers. I love how hung up Spike is over the lack of meat in his dinner. I love his primary motivation being the carnitas even more. The fact that the CG in this show is better than something that LITERALLY AIRED TODAY is disgusting. Is it really all right for the option to serve an (albeit fake) pregnant lady alcohol? I thought he was going to stab his eye with the needle. I was going to nope out very fast. That drug literally gave him superpowers, damn. Spike is really good at sleight-of-hand, huh? Wonder why she saved Spike. I hope these old men become recurring characters. That action scene was really well choreographed. Does it work if you break it dramatically like that? |
| Pretty average start for such a popular show, but maybe it'll pick up some pace. The best part so far is the music with that iconic opening of course :3 |
| I'm over 2 decades late but better late than never am I right? Great start, already has me hooked. The animation holds up, even the cg is decent. (Was that cg? idk I'm just assuming cause it looked like cg) Hope the rest of the series follows in the footsteps of this great first episode (Seeing that many call it a classic I'm going to assume it does) Cheers m8 |

| oh man, really like it, the OP make you feel you are watching james bond, but when i'm seeing sci-fi elements and they just ignored the hell out of it, the action made my impression from the OP more clear. for a minute i thought that woman is pregnant, i actually thought she was worried for her baby when she were shout in her tummy, but it turned out to be tummy of bullets. and than the ED made it much better, i'm glad i picked this anime. |
| While visuals and music were awesome, especially during action sequences and scenes with space ships involved, the plot seemed to be rather simple. Dunno, maybe it felt like that only in this episode. Perhaps it is gonna be better in the next episodes. |
