@kimatg, slightly transparent orange background effect on the clubs in the panel making an 'unread comments in these clubs' feature in the panel, hover over for a sec and they turn back to white~
I believe it may require more than what stylish can do?
at worst you can use this idea to make an slightly transparent orange background effect for clubs with 'new' next to them in the panel.

@LonerGoth: Uh, sorry but I don't quite get what you mean... could you give me a mockup screenshot for this?

hmm, this idea may require javascript to detect how many times the user has hovered over the specific element, if more then one time, change background-color to white, if nver hovered over background-color is orange, and of course, if club has new comment, make the background-color:orange;...
so I beleive it is going to need javascript.

anyway, the mockup I made was... lacking. It is within the spoiler:

The more I think about it, even though its a visual aide to help users find out new comments... the more I realize it can only be successfully achieved proporly in Jacascript...
The idea though, to help users identify new posts in clubs, or even unread new posts in threads that the user is watching through a visual aide, making it HIGHLY noticable that there is a new club comment by colouring the backgorund of the entire table Row for that club... is a good idea though... I think.

@LonerGoth: Yea, I kinda thought it would be something that would require javascript... It's obviously not possible with css. And I don't really think it's going to be that useful, since the current system MAL uses to identify which are 'new' and 'updated' forum posts, clubs, etc doesn't work all so right, with stuff showing *NEW* even after I've looked through them.

Now as a side note, man you need some cleartype treatment for your computer, it's gonna make the text on screen much easier for your eyes. And DO use the cleartype addon if you don't have Helvetica Neue installed with freetype rendering!!!

And also just curious, why do you have the database menu when you're not any of the DB moderators, if I'm not mistaken?

its a userscript, quite handy, probably editable, but I don't want to screw it up.

I can add links to clubs in the menu to make it easier to navigate to favored clubs... and thats about all I use the userscript for.

what else it does, or can do, has nothing to do with me...

I have been using this for a month and I love it !
One problem that occurs Randomly is that sometimes the MAL only loads with the background but after a couple of refreshes its normal.

Would it be possible to have some sort of an update notifier like this script http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/33042
?

Must have been a temporary problem with the image host (photobucket)
Try refreshing a while later. For me it loads fine now...

Yea, I noticed that too.. but was too busy(or lazy :P) to fix the link and upload to the new server... same goes for the font. If you haven't installed the TitilliumText14L fonts locally you might have noticed they don't display correctly since some time.

Maybe some time later... hope I can fix all the places that look messed up right now. ~_~

Can you please reupload the font pack?

Recently whenever I load an anime page (doesn't happen on forum/club/profile/etc pages) it takes around 15-20 seconds before I'm able to scroll/click links properly. I want to see if installing the fonts locally changes anything. If not, do you have any idea what might be causing this? I've been using re[MAL] for months and this behavior only started recently.

Oh, and I'm on Chrome. There's always the possibility that it's a browser-related bug.

Edit: Downgraded Chrome from beta to stable and the problem appears to be gone. I'd still appreciate it if you could reupload the font pack though.

Could you do an update to fix a minor problem with the More Info tab?

http://myanimelist.net/anime/11111/Another

The tab should be appearing on the far right, next to the Pictures tab, but instead it overlaps below the Details tab.

it looks fine here. Even if I resize my browser window to a width lower than the width of the anime entry.

Maybe he needs some more info, like browser and version; it seems to be some sort of 'specific' error.

I use the stable branch of Google Chrome and right now I am on version 17.0.963.46 m (the latest version).

This bug has been around for a few months now but I never bothered posting about it until now. It happens even with all other extensions/userscripts disabled (only Stylist enabled).

I've just updated to the first Firefox 13 beta and the bars went from the somewhat 3D effect to the 2D effect. While it has some appeal of it's own, could it possibly be fixed at some point? That'd be great.

Hello guys, if any of you still remember me ;)
Sorry for an extremely delayed update. To be honest, I practically stopped using MAL ever since last year or so.. and didn't really have time/motivation to look into the themes. *cough* Tw..Twitter... *cough* But as some of the exhaustively used -moz dependent CSS3 properties were deprecated (transitioned to proper CSS3 codes without -moz) and the theme just looked miserable(..) I just quickly made those replacements. I guess it's a good thing that after all this time MAL hasn't changed much :/

As a note on a more personal side, unfortunately I don't think I'll be actively participating in MAL community as I did before (which means it's really unlikely that I'll make any further changes on the re[MAL] theme too) T_T but I AM still actively watching anime and haven't lost my interest in subculture and all! So should any of you want to keep in touch with me can always find me on Twitter @zvuc or in my blog http://xenosium.com (though It's all in korean, feel free to mention me in english, and you'll get a reply in english!)

PS: and yes me "zvuc" is the "kimatg" you know. ;)

What are the dimensions for the background? I would like to try and create a theme but using a Guilty Crown background. Was wondering if there is a clear tutorial on how to edit the backgrounds? If there isn't can some one maybe point me into the direction of some one who could answer my questions.
