| I just recently finished Your lie in April which I thought it was a good series,however I preferred White Album 2 due to a better execution of the story in regards to the series. They do give a similar vibe in character development and the pace of the story but White Album 2 is more realistic and dramatic. Please note any spoilers, MUST use a spoiler tag. |

Hiding the back stories and past and them slowly throwing clues at the viewers and then having a giant climax near the end where the MC finds out the truth and changes himself. Both were pretty depressing as well in the same dramatic way. |
| Lol I just said Nodame because I prefer college over highschool since I'm a college student myself. But I don't get this Shigatsu hate that's prevalent in MAL. |

| LOL, I wondered what Your Lie in April is and forgot I finished downloading it for more than a month now. Don't know about former yet, I'm still gonna watch it, but White Album 2.... I dislike it after knowing the ending... I hate the MC.... |

Well the anime series followed the Visual novel route so can't really say much as I believe there is more character development afterwards. I do feel You lie in April is repetitive and seems a lack of story development but that may be a petty issue to viewers but for me I felt the story could somehow be expanded and character personality which only Kaori succeeded. |

Last episode was better than the ones before it. it's not fantastic, mainly because it was all obvious and predictable, sure to happen from like halfway through the series - and that kinda can't be fantastic it's just as terrible as any episode before it |

| White Album II, because unlike Shigatsu it doesn't get boring with too many flashbacks and repeated scenes. |

| Ridiculous to compare the two. White Album 2 anime covers only the "PROLOGUE" of the story. The main story lies in closing chapter and coda. WA2 Closing Chapter is one of the best VN I've ever played, I'm ignoring the shitty character designs. While its no Baldr Dive 2 level of writing, its definitely better Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso. |
