I don't know if you've seen the new TG PV 2 for the BD/DVD released a few days ago but in it they showed lots of Ishida's draft and there were some panels that should Kanou and Rize. There was also a panel that should Suzuya fighting Tsukiyama and Naki. And yeah the guy is talking about short haired Touka in one of the other PV. She had shorter hair compared to the recent one. |

| I don't think they completely took it out. I mean, the scene basically pans over her body while she's laying there, doesn't take a genius to figure out what Amon's thinking in that moment. But yeah they could've made it a little more obvious. |

That is how obsessive was his sense of responsibility and morality. yes... yes it is relevant. a good amount of his character is defined by this scene. out of respect for her and kureo, Amon chooses to overcome cardinal temptation by physically disciplining himself with exercise...just like when that one dude got killed by touka and he went to work out in his house...besides the fact that its hilarious i really respected his character for having such strong morals, it displayed his mental fortitude. this anime scene didn't really touch on that. it just made him seem regretful about kureo with no real incentive to do 7,890 something pushups. |

You can make a complete 1:1 adaptations with manga, but not with VN and LN since they contains many world-buildings that can't be included easily in the story-telling. Though you can make faithful VN/LN adaptations by keeping and staying true to important elements/plots of said VN/LN without cutting out too much of the world-buildings and character developments which is what ufotable is currently doing for F/SN. Anyway, I don't really have any more expectations for this adaptations by Pierrot except for them to make a decent Kaneki vs Arima and Eto vs Arima since the story is already a mess as it is. Let's all hope they remake the whole TG manga first, by another studio ofc, in a few coming years before touching :re or it will be too late/much even for :re remake. |

The only decent adaptation you mentioned above is AoT and I would call that a 1:1 adaptation since they only change little things which were asked by the author himself. Even the anime-original stuff makes sense to the story instead of being useless fillers. Maybe you can look into manga adaptations by studio like I.G, Madhouse or Bones. Example, Hunter x Hunter and FMA:B. As for me, the fact that Pierrot are doing this already lowered my expectations and the fact S1 had 12 eps just crushed all my hopes. That's why I'm just hoping that another studio like I mentioned above will pick up the manga for a remake instead of another adaptations from Pierrot. I do agree with you about these manga-readers having expectations from this season when it's evident how bad S1 was are kinda annoying. |
