This one has a more serious tone to it compared to other series. At times there's a few comedy parts though. Also, one of my friends played one of the lead female characters. |

Then again, I don't know how 90's you wanna go. Ren and Stimpy comes to mind. Ren and Stimpy was the gutter of 90s cartoons same with rocko's modern life. I'd even throw in courage the cowardly dog in there too. Almost every mid 90's to early 2000 show had all kinds of jelly and jam that I never even realized was there. Usually things like innuendos. |

Well, as a pretty young kid I would watch stuff like Pokemon, Yu-gi-oh, DBZ, and Sailor Moon on TV. I'm not sure how a super conservative mother would think, though. |

There is an anime for everyone out there, that's why I love the medium so much. Good shows for kids from my list would be: - One Piece - Fairy Tail (except if you're a prude and you want your kid to become one as well) - Dragon Ball - Pokemon - Digimon - Yu-Gi-Oh! - Sailor Moon - Rock Man Most are pretty long and/or old. |

There are anime for kids, but they're mostly battle shonen. Parents really shouldn't shelter a kid from all violence in my opinion, watching dragon ball z wont make them a violent criminal in the future |

I've watched many action anime and I don't even remember if I ever punched someone seriously. Naruto, Dragon Ball, Bleach, and so on while have many violence, I think it's still appropriate for kids. The story is simple and there are moral values to be learned from the story. The actions are mere entertainment. Those mothers are just over-acting just like girls in general. |

Yes. And no. Then again alot of Children shows from the west are designed for children but have adult jokes in them so adults can enjoy them too. |
