| Who said they aren't? They are making it; the manga is still going on. But the anime has reached the manga. So, it was a necessary for the anime to stop here. The bad thing is, as far as I know, they don't have any solid plans to continue the anime. However, that also doesn't mean they won't. I will be waiting along with other fans for the they HxH will launch once again. |

| But the story isn't finished. The author changed his mind about the goal of series apparently. And according to one of his interviews he might just kill Gon, which would actually make sense now, considering his situation. There is still some sub plots to be answered, mainly Kurapika's and maybe Hisoka's, and Killua and Alluka. I don't really care to see anime original stuff, I didn't touch the movies, and probably never will. |

| Meeting his dad could be what "starts" the series, actually. Think of it as an extended prologue. I'm only speculating. It'd be pretty cool if I'm right, though. |
