| Can't say I'm sad to see this arc ending, it's probably just me but after Greed Island everything has just been too drawn out and a little on the boring side. There have been some great episodes, the beginning of this arc was a welcome change after the invasion half of the CA arc, but it seems like the quality of the series has just went way down hill. A break may do the series some good, maybe when it comes back there will be enough material that they don't have to draw everything out so much. As for this episode, this was a really poor episode. The beginning with Ging and Cheadle was good, and Leorio's speech was gold, but other than those two scenes the rest was put together really poorly. I've noticed this with other long running anime, after a certain point it's like the studio just stops trying as hard. Also, very few of the original manga authors seem to know how to keep a story flowing for so long. Bleach lost it's edge after the Rescue Arc, Naruto lost it's edge after the time skip, One Piece lost it's edge after the Thriller Bark Arc(but seems to be gaining momentum again). HxH has interesting stories with each arc in the manga, my only real complaint is when the studio started catching up with the manga they started trying to draw each little thing out more and more and it ruined it for me. But, that's just me. |

The only thing they did was move the a certain scene to the next episode. |

| Leorio's speech was good. I have no idea what the outcome of the election will be. Next episode is named ''Defeat x and x Reunion''. Maybe Gon is healed and reunites with Ging? I'm really looking forward to it. |
| Leorio's speech put talk no jutsu to shame :D Politics in anime often bore me, but Hunter x Hunter managed to make it interesting with its colorful cast, their dynamic, and the psychological battle. |

| 3/5, probably worst episode this arc so far. Though Leorio's speech was entertaining nothing else really stood out about this episode. Doesn't feel as drawn out as the manga so that is good. Only four episodes left though, hopefully the next one will be a feel ride. |
| I feel so bad for Seung Wook-Woo. His episodes are almost guaranteed to have little to no pizzazz whatsoever, and disappointing almost any type of H×H fan. So, I saw this coming over a mile (or a few weeks) away. I'm just glad that the anime-onlies mostly found the progression to be 'meh'. That is at least some silver-lining, since this is the last we'll be seeing of his H×H episodes, fortunately (he's not to be blamed, though). |

| so close to the anime's ending and i still caved and read the next scenes. i really don't get why leorio's speech is getting him all this support though. sure, it shows that he's genuine about his feelings and may imply that he really cares about his best friend, so maybe he'll care about you too, but still. it proves nothing about his qualification as chairman. and his only goal/plan is for everyone to help gon. isn't that a little selfish even though it's an entirely selfless request? i don't know. well. if leorio wins i will table flip. |

Because he is the most "realistic" one on the eyes of those hunters while the other 3 is politicians. Mizai and Cheadle spoke in a really political ways to kick out Pariston and those hunters probably aware of it(actually it's not that hard). Then Leorio came and rather than speak a shit about this chairman, he spoke about wanting to save his friend instead. To stay like that is Leorio's advantage as his majority voters is the swing voters who might goes to Pariston to end the election fast. His speech is better than Cheadle and Mizai so he deserved a little applause for being the genuine one is good. Anyway, i don't know how to put it into words, but this episode kinda lack it's feel. I am kinda disappointed. The manga far better. |
