| I actually enjoyed Gigantomakhia. Sure, more Berserk would have been better but it was a nice change of pace. And even though it was not up to Berserk's quality, it was still a good read for a one volume long story. Miura mirrors GRRM and ASOIAF quite a bit, imho. A lot of people complain there as well.. maybe it is just me being used to rather long waiting periods because of my affilation for literature and authors that often take decades to publish new content. I don't know. |

I don't give a fuck if he made the best one shot manga in existence, it doesn't make the Berserk hiatus goes away. Burn out? they guy has years of hiatus, he can just end the series and let his fans out of the hook, if he feels that he can't inspired for Berserk or enjoy making it anymore, I doubt the magazine is pressuring him into finishing, it's not that big of a series like HxH for example. Please, there is nothing that grinds my gears regarding Berserk as much as the artwork bullshit. He can spend less time of the artwork and give it to the plot and it's progression, any actual fan of the series should care more for the story, than ''hurr durr detailed gorgeous art is worth the large amount of wait''. |

They should have ended it back when the author had to take that big hiatus due to a hand injury. While I will agree that Berserk has hit a bit of a slump in the last couple of years, the newest chapters prove promising. Thankfully the pirate island adventure is done, easily the worst arc in the entire manga and completely irrelevant. I think things will kick up again in the upcoming chapters. I would love to see Miura set a proper schedule for his manga, instead of this 'til' next time' business. His manga is almost 30 years old now. It needs to hit the climax like soon. |

I don't know I kinda like the new girl, I thought the whole Revy getting drunk thing was pretty funny. It's definitely not the best arc, it's average so far, but still I've enjoyed it. Then again I'm kinda biased since the anime is one of my favorites. |
