| Hi all ... Im Gray fan ... I thinks his cool, but in 1 season of anime he doesnt get really strong ... I think that fairy tail producers need to power him up ... Because all i can see is that mediocre anime character as Natsu gets more and more powerfull ... Just my opinion on that ... |

| While they do make Natsu look stronger, I've greatly come to prefer Gray over him. He's basically the opposite of Natsu in the best way possible. Natsu hardly has any character development and is still the same bumbling moron from chapter 1, Gray on the other hand has developed quite a bit. Natsu also wins most of his fights through brute force and plot armor, Gray's fights on the other hand are the most strategic in the entire series. So to me, I like Gray over Natsu. |

| I'm indifferent when it comes to Gray. And sometimes Natsu is cool, so I will go with him, and I think I generally like him more. |

| Natsu = Luffy ... no change at all in whole series ... they have same personality ... Gray is just so cool they need to buff him a little ... What i dnt get is like Natsu is salamander , then he eat thunder and becomes fire and thunder dragon user ... just so stupid ... next thing will be he eats a dragon and will be able to transform in dragon ... just his always like brute force shhit and comes in last second -.- and kick asses ... like i said anime should be called ,, Natsu the all powerfull eating mage ,, not ,, Fairy tail,, ... |
| you're starting to repeat yourself. Gray will never be as strong as Natsu. Natsu has the potential to turn into a dragon like Acnologia just from overusing his magic. Meanwhile if Gray does that with iced shell he just dies. I could write an essay several pages long why Gray's rivalry with Natsu is something casual rather than Gray actually holding a candle to Natsu. |
| yeah i know ... but i just cnt enjoy faiy tail like i enjoyed it in beggining of series ... where natsu and gray rivalry was cute to see and funny ... now natsu is just getting buffed with no real character developement ... so i very much stoped watching at episode 130 or even less ... its 2 boring ... whole thing is like ... bad guys come ... make trouble ... natsu then come defeat their leader and others from fairy tail just defeat minions ... its boring to see always same thing |

He was the acclaimed "strongest member of Sabertooth" while Gajeel and Natsu fought the two Dragon Slayers. And then Natsu beat both of them. | Gray, he is actually a well developed character, which is pretty much non existent in Fairy tail, his magic is also more interesting and creative than Natsu's which is just burning shit up, hence why Gray's fights are more strategic and Natsu's feature more mid fight powerups and overall he is just way more likeable imo while Natsu is more annoying and feels like a generic shonen hero. No poll? |

| Natsu is far more powerful than Gray. That said, I feel like Gray is the better character. Not being a walking cliche helps. | Natsu should win. Why? Well Natsu should win simply because he made fire that can't be blown away and because he can create flames hotter than ice. When Gray uses ice, it is frozen water. If you think about it, Natsu should win due to virtue of the state of matter changes. Other than that, Natsu can slay dragons and use lightning....while Gray has ice....which conducts lightning! And if we're going down this line of thought...wouldn't Natsu instantly lose if Gray made an ice train or something? I mean they make Natsu's motion sickness look like he's dying ._. |

Just cause he gets the last hit in doesn't invalidate the damage done by others leading up to that point. |

| Gray is one of my favorite characters in Fairy Tail, while Natsu's one of the least favorite. He is just an example of the world's unfair part - the one's, who do literally nothing, have more than those who deserve it... | Both are average. But i prefer Natsu than Gray (64/100 for Natsu and 62/100 for Gray) Wendy however in her own class. Need more Gajeel and Laxus involvement in the story. |
