| This boy was really self confident and I didn't like the fact that he wasn't really panicked at first when he noticed that his schoolmates were mistaking him with the shounen bat. I mean, it must be really hard to be rejected when you were popular yesterday. I know he was trying to bring back his popularity, but even though I just feel like he wasn't aware of the seriousness of this situation. Maybe that was the goal but I was really expecting him to be panicked at the beginning. But well, at least, he finally ended up panicked and living in his delusions. Nice episode neverthless that brings interesting subject like bullying or social statut in school and the fear of loosing one statut. It really reminds me of one episode of Shigofumi btw. |

| I really liked the little fat boy character. It's so rare that you see characters in anime nowadays that aren't the stock mold of the really impossibly, obese guy or the characters that are bishounen. |

| hmm. another intresting episode.. i was told this anime was a complete mind fuck... they weren't lying.. the animation at the end was very cool and trippy! Didn't care too much for the boy though, he was too cocky and sure of himself! But as someone has said in an earlier comment, it really brings forward bullying a social status in schools nowdays! adn just how deeply it affects kids!! |
| I don't know about you guys, but I do like Ichi and I do feel sorry for him. He's popular then the next day comes and he's plummeted into nothing (I somewhat wish he kept his cool and calm demeanor but then that wouldn't make sense) and of course he blames the fat kid because you know most people see them as pigs and them doing heinous acts. (you can see how in our society that we typically blame ugly people more often than the ones who look good; it's sad but true. also in the manga it's always the fat people who die first or commit a sinful act. I do NOT believe this.. just saying) He's so conceited that it makes me like him. He's starting to become insane~~~~ I wonder why he saw himself and what that Japanese text says.... Ushiyama didn't deserve to be hit! |

| I hate Ichi, but I don't like the fact he's being shunned because of something he didn't do. On the other hand, feel bad for the other boy. He just wanted to get along with everyone. The animation is weird, but nothing compared to Paprika. |

| Interesting episode. So we have Yuuichi, who is popular in school, he wears gold skates and a baseball cap, but eventually everyone starts suspecting him of being lil slugger. He loses his popularity, he suspects the fat kid to be the main cause, he wishes for him to be hit by lil slugger, it actually happens. But then he doesn't want to go to school the next day, so he has some trippy paranoia-like dream about lil slugger. Wow I must say I'm really loving this anime so far! Definitely better than the 1st one. Onto the next episode! |

| Well daaaaaaamn. I felt bad for Yuuichi at first but then his snobbish personality made me want him to be blamed. I'm interested to see what happens next. Maybe he'll get arrested but the shounen bat might strike whilst he's in prison proving his innocence? Well onto the next episode.. |

| I enjoyed every moment of this episode, geez I feel already insane after watching the opening-it's weird and shows us that for the first time we smile and show others how happy, nice we are....But if we look closer everyone has their demons which someday could come out and crush you completely. That old insane grandpa seems to me will take one of the important parts in this story |

| ok the kid is done now. No way he's going to be anything in his school ever again. At best the other kids will just ignore him. Not that I feel especially sorry for him losing everything. He was way too arrogant anyway but being hated by the entire school for something you didn't do isn't really something I'd wish onto anyone regardless. also I can't be the only one that thinks the woman from the first episode is going to commit suicide. The opening doesn't help with that thought :P |

At his age I'd want him to get smacked a bit too because he's a walking insecurity trigger. But you have to remember he's just a kid lol, most of his behaviour is encouraged by the adults in his life. Does he really deserve the trauma of being ostracized? Bullied? Smashed upside the head with a metal bat? Those scenes where he starts getting mad at the other students are pretty real and very sad. By no fault of his own, this boy's life is turned upside down and he'll never be the same again. Pretty heartbreaking stuff. Well said my man |

I was blown away by how well "Satoshi Kon" developed Ichi's character. Ichi has his flaws as arrogant, self-absorbed and exploitive, but each step he take requires critical thinking and initiate to better serve himself and the position of student council president. Which is why I believe he is the best candidate for the position. Since no one else has been put under the same conditions, which allows him to grow and adapt in response to such treatment. The kid did well, I bet any of his other classmates would have cried in response to such ostracism instead of addressing the issue, and challenging himself and others to overcome the obstacle. I loved the music wherever he was daydreaming and fantasizing about his success. Which really made me want to cheer for him as well, but the "Welcome to NHK" atmosphere at the end made me feel sorry for him. I hope he turns out alright by the end of the season. |

| I won't say Yuichi deserved it, but ignorants usually prove that pride goes before a fall. He had a narcissistic personality anyway, that's why I can't fully blame him for his actions, as for I can't say he was initially bad or something. |
