Those faces weren't nagaish at all. I saw the same reaction on /m/ as well and I don't really get what the big deal is. It's obviously a homage/reboot of an older work and I think they did a good job with the art style and keeping it looking "70s" despite being a 2011 show. I agree that the purpose of it is to appeal to a wide array of people with it which include the new fans. I just think they did a good job on appealing to both sides of the coin since they kept the retro look to it and put a modern flair on it as well. |

| It was OK, but it was weird for a remake. Charadesigns were great, but the plot...? The original one was way more better in this line... maybe one thing is good in this: Yukiko-hime's design and we can't see too much Enma-kun's diaper... |

| Very nice, I laughed quite often and that human girl is pretty awesome in my opinion, I hope she is one of the main characters : ) Something about the animation reminds me of older movies like Kiki's Delivery Service or Castle in the Sky. And since I love that kind of animation, I can't help but loving this show |

| This impressed me, luckily I didn't skip it! Decided to check it as soon as I read the name "Masaaki Endou" as Theme Song Performer and I'm really glad I finally did it! The humour kinda puts you off, but the episode was great anyway. Will continue watch it...definitely! |
