| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Just reached the halfway point of the episode, but the epicness is too much. I haven't seen anything this raw as far as martial arts go in anime for at least 7 years now. My most recent favorite action was Rakudai Kishi no Cavalry and it's not really a martial arts action, more like magic swords. I honestly don't think anime will ever have another great action series due to how limited the budget is, they could barely have an action scene last longer than 10seconds before interrupting it with some BS dialogue or narration. Drunken fist is one of my favorite martial arts style so I was extra hyped for it. That is also Tianming's dad right? The guy named Jingke. Hype intensify. |
