While Yuki is more of a supporting character, the show giving her spotlight makes her feel more important especially this episode.

Despite the competitive nature of the show, Natsunosuke can also be a pretty open minded guy.

At least they planted the seed in her mind that they have something to do with baseball, so maybe someday she will realize that he is actually that guy. :D

Wow he's too good for a one-time character! Too bad pro world is cruel. I think season 2 is much better than the first one.

Solid episode. This one really felt like a true slice of life. I'd love to pop into that diner with a friend for a meal and a beer while the game's on.

Korekawa pretending to be the Tempters fan like the rest of the customers just to tease Bonda for Yuki was hilarious.

Too bad we won't be seeing him again, I mean the dude the following year didn't even make one appearance with the Kobe Oxen and retired after. His story had a real bitter ending considering he was this kind of guy.

I hope Bonda makes his move on Yuki.

Man this show can be really brutal sometimes. Korekawa was a really great character and not only was he super bummed about leaving the Spiders but we had to hear that he retired the following year after no appearances. Like damn that sucks but I guess the show is about trying to portray the realities of being a pro.

Hopefully Yuki finds out about Bonda before the season is over because I worry we may not be lucky enough to get a season 3, though I live in hope.

I'm not crying Korekawa-san, you are!

Not sure how people can hate this anime.

Nice fun episode!
more screen time with Bonda & Yuki-chan!
Korekawa knew it all along that Bonda like Yuki-chan, but its a shame that he retired as well that year...
LOLZ! I really thought Bonda will be busted by all those people inside the eatery that they are actual players of Jingu Spider! i guess it was almost busted but it turns-out Korekawa handled it perfectly for the sake of Bonda, cuz he's rooting him to Yuki-chan!
5/5.

Half way through now, and I think I am definitely enjoying this season more than the first, not by a huge margin tho. This episode in particular was really fun, Korekawa casually talking to Yuki and getting nostalgic was great, especially with Bonda’s reactions lol. Also loved Yuki little happy dance when the Tempters scored, might’ve been the best animation in the whole show lol.

And Korekawa’s slick moves on Yuki and getting the whole restaurant riled up was hilarious, but when you look at it differently it did kinda get Bonda’s foot in the door with Yuki, including the first time he’s talked to her, so he really should be thanking Korekawa lol.

And as fun as all that was, the hard reality regarding Korekawa’s job as a pro ball player was sad to hear after the sprits were high at the end of the episode, a true shame but that’s life.
