Lacia in a suit :o

First half of the episode felt pretty boring tbh. Just another day of working as usual as Lacia and Ayato discovers yet more trouble. Ayato should really watch out for his own well-being tbh and Lacia is not happy at seeing him being tortured.

Sigh, Methode is still a troublemaker. They should of dealt with her already but she's still here.

Ok, At this moment this episode isn't air on Prime videos so I can't judge this episode , but I saw on official twitter acc next episode will be intermission_04 I don't get why we need other one after 2 episodes ? I think free week would be better if they can't keep up with schedule.

Kouka may have been lost but at least her live broadcast got people moving. Snowdrop's petals sure are causing quite the mess. The military's reaction to snowdrops actions though was interesting. Ryo sure came prepared to stop them though making use of both Methode and a spec ops team. Its understandable that Arato would feel useless when facing someone like Ryo though. Though the ambush was unexpected Lacia's handling of it was fun. Confronting Ryo with logic and facts and seeing his reaction was hillarious. Hmm the revelation about Lacia sure was a twist. Looks like the relationship between Lacia and Arato just changed substantially.

This was a pretty boring episode up until the ending. Snowdrop is quite strong, her petals caused a lot of trouble. Arato feeling so useless was funny. What a twist about Lacia. That confrontation was just unbearable.

Lacia finally takes up the helm. Arato still does not realize the truth.

Well the intermissions are stated as extra content. So it doesn't count.

First half was crap. Second was alright but god Arato is frustrating to watch. It felt obvious from the 1st episode that Lacia wasnt who he perceived her to be but he is so dense that he just played along with her the entire time and it really made me lose my mind. So bland and dumb.

So apparently intermission 04 on June 1. Sigh.

We don't know the true Lacia yet, fact! But this is obviously part of the big bait she told Arato to be aware and trust her no matter what (Something he can't obviously even do).

I still expecting when will be the Arato participation in all that story. So far we could replace him by a rock and the result would be the same.

Pretty meh except for the last bit. That big Lacia reveal was actually kinda interesting. If the plot was more coherent then it probably would have been a pretty cool reveal. Arato saying he wont go was refreshing.

Only thing I like about this show is how they remind us, in all episodes, it is in how lame the MC is.

Wow so Erika hates this world she now exists in, she seemed to be enjoying herself watching everything that was unfolding.

Lacia looks really good in that suit, and Arato ended up in a rather funny place.

Rather clever by Lacia making a decoy black monolith so she could get the real one when the time was right.

So then, is Arato's reaction the one she wanted to see?

Ryo was right this whole time about not trusting Lacia, seems to have gotten through to Arato this time though, he decided not to listen to Lacia at the end there.

I don't think Lacia will harm Arato, she seems to like him, she will probably just leave without him.

NOBODY MESSES WITH LACIA IN DA HOOD!

Seriously, I laughed way more than I should have at this xD.

Welp, it was hinted for a while now that Lacia has other motives so it wasn't that big of a twist but I like it anyway. She also doesn't seem to be giving any fucks about what Arato says "I won't go!" Lacia: "Seen at 20:14 PM".

The first half was full of action, with Arato and Lacia trying to avoid Ryo, who is shaping up to be one of my favorite characters in this show because of his intelligence and leadership skills. I would be upset by the sudden change in the nature of Arato and Lacia's relationship, but let's be honest, the show has been taking screentime and character development away from these two that it feels good that the show is finally doing something meaningful with the characters who are supposed to be the protagonists. Was the Arato/Lacia relationship always a lie? Is Lacia still a heroine? Did she really care for Arato or she only stayed with him because it was convenient for her? This episode might mark the point where the show goes from mediocre experience to something genuinely interesting. I'm actually looking forward to see what happens next.

I'm reaaaalllly struggling to not drop this at this moment in time. ><

Anyway, I liked/enjoyed the following:
- the new OP and visuals
- Lacia in a suit
- Arato looking like a ragdoll when Lacia was running up the building
- The plot twist at the end when it was revealed that Lacia is a super-intelligent AI as well as Higgins' daughter?

Other than that, the episode was kinda boring. Not gonna be holding my breath to see what the next 8 episodes will bring, however.

Well I mean hoenstly Kengos Judgement is heavily Biased against something like 'Lacia' so I kinda think 'trusting' him is also a bit of a mistake. You can take her words to have more than one meaning. I rather doubt she wants to 'end humanity' or even Human society what she is striving for is likely something far more than that; it would certainly involve humanity existing - this isnt a terminator take over of the world.

*shrug* she openly stated to MC she wants to make/design a different future "Design a future where we CAN be together" Perhaps theres more meaning in that line that we first thought - Getting the feeling this series is tending to lean towards Lacia being the one or the one who will choose between humanity being controlled or mutual trust between AI and Humanity.

This episode had the most interesting concept by far; most notably was lacia's motive being rooted in aspects of socialism... Other than that, it was the passably interesting plot twist of lacia using arato as a means for her gain

Well, the show's been foreshadowing it for a while now, but it's good to finally have confirmation that Lacia is very much acting towards her own ends, not really acting for Arato very much at all. The revelation that she's one of the super-intelligent AI is also an interesting, but unsurprising one. Other than that, I didn't enjoy this episode at all: Erica's motivations and personality seem to have massively changed for no apparent reason, Ryo is continuing to be his unsufferable self with some absurdly hypocritical logic (even if I do kind of get the point he's making, the way he makes it is extremely dumb) and Methode has returned after being gone for several episodes now, which again leads to the issue of the fact that she clearly has the power to annihilate Lacia, but never actually does so (the amount fo standing and watching she does this episode, rather than fulfilling Ryo's order to terminate Lacia is absurd).

Lacia was controlling Arato actions we knew that she is different from other red box and she is a super ai we knew that to only thing that was good from this episode is the reaction from Lacia when Arato says I won't go her face saying do I look like someone who gives a fuck about you
The reason I'm not dropping this and going to suffer the rest of the episodes
Lacia looks HOT

New OP visuals are nice, shows a more darker side of Lacia.

I miss seeing Lacia's bodysuit + her device.

Methode continues to be a bully slapping Lacia around when she's in casual wear, but am really glad to see Lacia still has the upper hand even without her device. And seeing Methode's expression was priceless when she retrieved her device via the air.

As for Lacia's true AI nature, ehhhhh.... I miss the old E01 Lacia already.

But it's definitely getting interesting.

Wow umm I know they were throwing a lot of hints here and there but dang. I just bumped up my 6 to a 7 on this series cuz they took 16 episodes to build up to this point. I don't know of any series that did character and world building up to this point only to snap in half! This epiosde was great! Cliff hangar was great! Can't wait to see what happens next!!!!

Since Arato is a dense idiot I'm pretty sure it's gonna be a Romeo and Juliet style tragedy. "Trust me," Lacia. "Is this true???? I won't goooo??? >.<," Ararto. I mean, he kind of gave a huge general statement that gave her license to do whatever the hell she wants to make their little relationship a reality sooo- shit going down- including shooting missiles at ppl. This seems like it violates Asimov's, "Three Laws of Robotics" as well. Hmm.....I guess there's lotsa little fine print ways around it like. Shoot missle at this coordinate- or at this AI but I dunno seems like an obvious oversight. I feel like none of the Lacia class AI's should be able to do what they're doing in this episode- LIKE KOUKA. Cuz if Kouka has the same permissions as they do now- I'm pretty sure she would've took a shit load of humans down with her before the big artillery destroyed her. This episode seems like- they just plain ignoring whatever protective programming was put in place for the sake of literary excitement....ah well. I guess I shouldn't think too hard on it and enjoy this wrench in Arato's broken and un-trustful heart.

so they considered Lacia is dangerous because she's the 40th super intelligent AI, even though she didn't have strength and firepower like Methode?

well, even from this episode I still considered Methode the bad guy. and I am finally getting hyped when Lacia fight back Methode with that Missile, it feels like "karma bitches"

Ryo is an idiot and a hypocrite. Arato at least tried to talk some sense into him.

To counter HOO, Lacia decided to employ a PMC herself. Nice. It was pretty naive of them to think, that they would get Lacia's box so easily.

I'm curious what she will do in the next episode. And more importantly, Arato.

Oh now it makes sense. The reason why the mc is a useless is because Lacia picked him just for that reason. Lacia chose the mc just because he is stupid and manipulated him. Now that explains a lot. It's probably still gonna end like "but i still love you" and Lacia will act like a human, even though it makes no fucking sense.

Ryo is moralising about Lacia (who has harmed a grand total of 0 innocent people) being "dangerous" while simultaneously being a terrorist and a puppet of the mass murdering Methode? Hypocrisy knows no bounds. He's right about Arato being gullible, at least. He turned on Lacia on a dime after hearing Ryo's usual apocalyptical gaslighting. As long as someone else takes charge of the conversation, he'll believe whatever they tell him, since he's incapable of going on the verbal offensive.

Lacia wants to "design a future", which is literally one where she and Arato can be together, per her own words. How is this a problem? He already knew this. Did he forget what sort of hellscape future Ryo would prefer to "design"? Ryo assumes bad intentions of Lacia's apparent planning and intelligence with no basis whatsoever, while the only parties that have canonically displayed bad intentions (and actions) are actually him and Methode.
