| The shoujo-ai scene with Saya and Hotaru is epic haha. Saya is a treasure from this show, and overall dagashi kashi is really good. |

Aw, not bad season. But not so good either. I surely dissapointed at how this series ended. But alas, you had season 2 to drank your thirsty thought toward Hotaru. Highly watching it asap. |

| I get really sad thinking that this is the last episode of Dagashi Kashi :( but then I remember there's season 2 :D Overall, I really enjoyed Dagashi Kashi S1. I really enjoyed learning about Japanese Dagashi and their history. (；⌣̀_⌣́) |

| Far too much shameless and forced advertisement scenes for my liking, not as bad and boring as Super Cub, but still pretty subpar. Hotaru was a letdown, became an annoyance whenever she appeared on screen, much preferred Saya. The obsession with snacks humor just didn't click at all for me. All the sexual innuendos/misinterpretations was meh as well. They should have just gone full throttle and showed actual good fanservice. 5/10. This was an anime that I was pretty far off the mark in terms of my judgement, thought I would enjoy a lot more pre watch. |
| This anime is only entertaining when Saya is involved. When shes not involved, its just meh. Overall, this anime is a forgettable anime, and I am very surprised that it got a second season. |
| 7 years ago... time flies unfortunately or not. I miss this series. Still waiting for a 3rd season, since there is enough material left for one. |

| Really enjoyed the scenery and characters of this anime. I guess it didn't click for people that the genre is Gourmet and not solely romance/comedy, I learned a lot about japanese sweets, their ways of doing things is fascinating The eps are undoubtedly episodic and Hotaru/Saya are the attraction, even so, this is fanservice done right cuz it served purpose to the context - exactly what My Dress-Up Darling failed to recreate in order to keep their audience as "cosplay" can be dull. Those characters lack personality, so they use Marin's irrelevant sexual moments and her nonsensical attraction to Gojou so they can keep an audience. In the end Saya became the star of the show, she's simply adorable and her eyes are so appealing, Hotaru could genuinely appear as a character from Monogatari Series. |
