少女アニメと漫画大好き-Shoujo Anime to Manga Daisuki

Shoujo manga and anime is generally intended for female audiences from ages 10-18, but females of all ages (and some males) can read, watch and enjoy it. Shoujo titles usually contains female protagonists, and romantic themes, but it can also have various themes like sci-fi, fantasy, supernatural and along others as well. Unfortunately, a lot of titles, like the Seinen Ah! My Goddess and Chobits and the Shounen Love Hina, are mistakenly labeled as Shoujo manga/anime because of the similarities of the storylines associated with the demographic. However, while Shoujo has idealistic romantic stories, Seinen and Josei focuses on a more realistic approach in romance/life.

This is for all the fans of Shoujo anime and manga, from classics like Ribon no Kishi, Rose of Versailles, Candy Candy and Sailor Moon to modern-day favorites like Fruits Basket, Full Moon, Ouran High School Host Club, Lovely Complex, Vampire Knight and Skip Beat and much, much more. We got over 150 300 (!) titles in the manga relations list alone.

@Klefki_of_Awsome This series upon finding it, the description reminded me of that oneshot you brought up to me once in the magical girl club. Except it's not yuri...XD Its funny on how similar the synopsis sound.....not sure if it's a romance though. Sakura Omoi

@Klefki_of_Awsome Haha you're here....I didnt expect to see you find this club but yes you got the right one....I was only bringing it up due to you reminding me of all the new releases, and great seriesyou mentioned it brought to my mind the club updates that's been going on here. Happy to have you here and read your comments . Have fun catching up with the sticky to see what you've missed since the new admin ;)

Hello LuxMAL Thanks so much for your comment and joining the club. Its funny because I remember back in myanimelists early days clubs were one of the main reason why I joined and were very active. Because this club has been around since those days, last year activity has been routinely updated for more activity. I just wish myanimelist would make club recent activity more visible on people's main pages panel.....thats probably why these days people forget about clubs because ever since the panel layout change...it got hidden to many users. I dont use the app so its not a problem for me, but I heard it is for others.

I've always been more of a shoujo watcher and actually the reasons you said you prefer shoujo romance these days, are exactly the reasons why I love/prefer shoujo as well. @LuxMAL

Hi there! Just joined this club 'cause I saw it and as a shoujo romance fan I just had to join ig. Even tho I use mal for years now I've never rly done anything with clubs and stuff so I don't know. Just thought I write some introduction just because. I'm one of the "(and some males)" mentioned in this clubs description. from the 450+ anime I've seen over half is romance and I watched it for the romance. After watching SO much of it (in the beginning mostly shounen), I noticed that the more erotic an anime is, the worse is the story and the shoujo romances are 99% of the time WAY better and just so beautiful. Yoroshiku!

New year New Announcement ! : Today marks the airing of new shoujo Yubisaki no Renren. It was a spotlight last year, so if you missed out dont worry the clubs 2nd New years Special discussion event is in the works .....Ive just had a busy week in this very first week of the year.....a pleasant change considering the past 4 years been slow paced for me. Let's hope this year brings more interesting shoujo anime like 2023!
