OH my gawsh!!! i absolutly fell in love witht his mang! its aout twins, Siva and Cipher, and these twins are so close a paper wont fit in between them, until Anise comes. Its sooooooo good! there are 12 volumes! I must buy it!!!! oh yes and the maga is from the 80s so you have people like billy joel and The Twin Towers are in the background... ya. But its good! And there is a sequel called alexandrite. Its about a character that comes from later on the manga! ahhh goodness! No it not yaoi... (i thought it was by the cover...)

I was introduced to this title by a friend when I was in high school (eons ago before English translations were widely availability in the U.S.). This title was very popular in Taiwan.

The story centers around twin brothers and we follow their personal identity struggles. It's a coming-of-age story and quite honestly, it was anti-climatic for me. I was expecting some kind of epiphany or some great revelation for the brothers but, that didn't happen. :(

The artwork was very consistent throughout the whole series. From the time publishing began in the early-mid 80's to when it ended in the early 90's, the characters' always looked ... the same. Only their hairstyles and fashion changed as time moved forward in the story. That said, this manga does look very dated. It's a great case study of the 80's. The mangaka was a huge Thompson Twins fan and it obviously influenced her art. LOL.

Overall, I found this manga okay. I recommend this to those who are interested in 80's mangas and while it is definitely showing its age, the artwork is very well-done and most people can relate to the brothers' experiences.

I started reading this manga in 2021 and I don't know what I saw in it to be honest. Don't get me wrong the art is pretty and the plot was pretty interesting. But what really started to turn me away from this manga was the brothers. Honestly that have a very confusing relationship and its too complex for me. They also love to kiss each other and act lovey-dovey and were supposed to see this as normal? LOL. Its a pretty old manga so I'm not really expecting it to get any better. I think the brothers were the downfall and the romance was ... really better than any other plot in this. I feel like Cipher could've done better and would've been a bit similar to Mars if it went a different way.
