Okay for some strange reason when i read the description for Kyou for some strange reason my mind thought Mitsu x Mitsu Drops I suggest reading the manga for Kyou first before ever watching it bc it makes more sense if u do. But I did enjoy both OVA's and both of them i wish there was more for. Like making a full TV series for both of them would be nice.

Both are very similar in which an experienced guy meets inexperienced girl and they both learn how to express their feelings of mutual love for one another.

I think skip beat also shows realistic development of love (aka not insta-love). Although I Kyoko the main character in skip beat I feel is much stronger heroine, she does share a very naive view of love deep down, which is similar to Tsubaki. They both learn about themselves and recognise their immaturity and mistakes in given situations. The hero's Ren and Kyota both have histories that are unique and they contribute a lot to the story rather than just being eye-candy. I strongly recommend reading the manga of both series as well as watching the anime.

I actually recommend the manga version of Kyou, Koi wo Hajimemasu, but oh well... Anyways, both are high school love stories that begin with an unpopular, plain-looking girl who accidentally catches the attention of a really hot guy due to some violent incident. Both female heroines get a makeover and eventually form a strong bond with the male protagonist. If you enjoyed Sukitte Ii na yo, you might like Kyou, Koi wo Hajimemasu (the manga version)

Guys are both mean at first sight but love girl. Girl loves guy, declares her love, thinks she should give up and.....guy says he loves her back.

•Both are a cute OVA of an anime that gives a little insight into highschool romance and are from the typical shoujo shy/quiet girl to the handsome popular boy. •Both are pretty much different, where one starts right at the beginning, and the other starts half way through the manga, which you would only know and connect with the characters if you've read the manga, otherwise you're at a loss and can't distinguish the situation. •Both are a quick short watch, which I dont regret wasting my time on them. They take different approaches and make it interesting and sweet. •They are similar in the highschool romance.  read more

Vampire Knight and Kyou, Koi wo Hajimemasu have two completely different story lines, and Vampire Knight isn't even an OVA. However, as soon as I saw Tsubaki, she reminded completely of Vampire Knight. Sure, Vampire Knight is all dark and vampire-bloody but the two protagonists of these anime look like twins. Seriously.

Very similar story: good girl, bad boy, unexpected love.

Both are short OVAs (only 2 episodes long) that explore love feelings between a boy and a girl. Both are full of twists and hesitations and are done in a sweet romantic artstyle.

Similar art and plot which makes them very interesting, but Complex is more as comedy, Kyou is more romance-like.
