Bomberman Jetters

Bomberman, if you liked the game then you will like the anime. You may think that it is a bit childish, that's what I thought as well until one of the main characters die. It is much darker than your normal kid animes. It is very touching about a Shirobon trying to grow up into a Bomberman.

Warning this may not suit those who like bishies in the anime and intricate drawing. It's just something you watch if you like cute little things throwing bombs around.

The animation is good quality, and the drawings are cute ^_^
I especially like the big heads and ... no mouth.

I don't really notice the sounds as much, so no comment on that. The voice characters of Shirobon is very cute and suits him very well, I especially like it when he goes "Daijoubu" too cute! Mighty and Max's voice is done by the same person that does the voice character Harima Kenji in school rumble and Hisoka from Hunter X Hunter, he is very talented indeed.

Overall it is not a bad watch, I'll advise you to watch it after you watched everything else and still have a lot of time to spare. Bomberman = cuteness, the game is very addictive.

Unlike Most video game animes which adapt storylines directly from the games such as Sonic X,Kirby right back at ya! or Megaman NT Warrior,ect. Bomberman Jetters on the other hand featured a totally new original storyline not based on any Bomberman games where Shirobon is a member of a space police group called the Jetters and has an older brother named Mighty who disapeared on his last mission to fight the Hige Hige bandits.

Shirobon ... meets a girl named Shout,who has bad tolerance for white bomber at first,but soon become friends,the other team members Shirobon meets are Birdy,Bongo and Gangu,and together each episode,they fight off Mujo and the Hige Hige bandits with the" Monster of the week" formula

however,it may be childish,but the storyplot gets much darker when Max is introduced, a Rival and enemey to Shirobon,and soon Shiro will learn the truth about the disapearance of his brother.

Bomberman Jetters is one of the video game anime franchises in Japan. It aired from October 2002 - September 2003. Its story's about White Bomber, a 10-year-old Bomberman who has trained to become a strong Bomberman. Mighty, who is older than White Bomber, is on a mission, by defeating the Hige-Hige robots, and died from the explosion, and he is the gentleman. Max an enemy of everyone on the Jetters, lies to White Bomber and says that he killed Mighty. Dr. Ein the creator of the Jetters tells the Jetters to destroy the Hige-Hige Base. Shout, the leader of the Jetters argues with White Bomber, ... by punching and kicking, she is an excellent girl who is the leader of the Jetters. Birdy the best buddy Mighty, that he is on a mission to fight the Hige-Hige dan and White Bomber finishes with a Bomber Shoot. Zero, a friend of White Bomber, who is telling the truth about Mighty, finished Max in episode 51 because he is the one that killed Mighty. Mujoe, a giant, tanned, blonde enemy that claimed the Hige-Hige dan. Grandma Bomber, who is the son of White Bomber, is responsible and rejects Dr. Ein and Bagura. At that time, the Jetters and the Hige-Hige Dan are enemies.
