Persocon = Cyber-Doll, helping "toys" that can help their lords. In that sense, they have similar motives throughout both shows.

Both have little girls, are funny, but main male character is different. They are both deffenetly worth watching.

Both series focus around a kind hearted guy, who just can't seem to catch a break. In both series they meet up with that "special girl", who drastically changes their lives. However MANY other girls are thrown into the picture to draw the two main characters away from each other.

Small robot maids that clean your house.

Both anime are catering towards otaku who enjoy collecting scale figures, and feature a similar premise surrounding a miniature girl character and the antics that ensue. There are nods towards otaku culture and some more meta elements of figure collecting are acknowledged, though it's less pronounced in Hand Maid May since May is not technically a scale figure. Both series' approach comedy in a similar way so expect some meta-comedy, slapstick and absurdist humor all around. If you like anime figures and consider yourself an otaku, you might like what either series has to offer.

In Hanaukyo we have human maids, while in Hand Maid May we have cyberdoll maids. Variating from hand sized to normal sized cyberdolls. Ofcourse there is some romance and some ecchi.

Both of them are cute series about a guy who lives in the same house as several girls like a family. They both have alot of beautiful moments and some of the charactors are kind of simular.
