Both are packed with:
- shinigami and shinigami eyes
- hot bishies
- cool storyline
Michiru possesses Shinigami Eyes, doesn't that remind you of Death Note? ;)
Shinigami eyes lets you see the ring on people's neck.
Sounds familiar with shinigami eyes seeing life-span of a human.
Shinigami are a major theme in both series, thus both remind me of the other. :D
In both one or more characters have a power called Shinigami Eyes, which in DN allows you to see both the name and life span of anyone, and in ZL makes you see a ring on people’s neck, and the darker it becomes, the nearer that person’s death gets.
In both you’ll find shinigami, death, supernatural, mystery, some blood, a dark aura, and lots of bishounen.
Also, both are adapted from 2 great manga, and both are wrongly considered shounen series.
michiru has shinigami eyes and both stories aresome what in someway similar. They are both great anime and if u liked deathnote then u would definately like zombie loan.zombie loan is a great short anime that you can watch in 1 day.u shouldcheck it out.
They both have Shinigami eyes, and something about killing.
Well, this one is pretty obvious with the whole Death God and Other Shore themes. Death Note is a lot darker and more complicated, but they both manage to move the plot along fairly quickly.

Both involve protagonists that are undead and slay other undead in order to liberate themselves from their undeath.
Zombies that hunt zombies, do I need to say what else they have in common? How about blood, gore, fight scenes and horror? Two different takes on the same theme.
Both have undead main characters who fight against other undead, though Zombie Loan has two guys instead of a girl.
They've both got characters that come back from the dead and have to kill the undead and have to kill a certain amount to accomplish their goals though Shikabane Hime Aka's is a set amount to kill. Both have some pretty cool artwork for their bad guys and cool fight scenes. They've both got some rather funny things happening in them and like damn near every other anime out there the main characters are of highschool age.
they r both about like corpse and stuff like that

Both tell about the undeads... Vampires and Zombies.
The leading female characters somehow trapped between two male characters.
Supernatural, nice art, abilities, very likable.
Goomy atmosphere in both. Both include super natural beings and life or death situations. One of the main characters uses a gun (Zero and Shito). Both involve a girl being torn between two guys.
Undead /
Two guys that can be paired with the female protagonist /
They live in the same dorm /
*I say go watch this if you watch the other ^^

Soul Eater is much longer and will probably reach its intended end (or at least I should hope so) while Zombie Loan was cut short and is uncertain, but Zombie Loan has some of the same elements such as a team working toward a goal to fight evil through supernatural weapons and powers, though in Zombie Loan it is to pay back a loan and in Soul Eater it is to become a Death Scythe. Both shows have shinigami and dark themes. The style of Zombie Loan is more typical of anime while Soul Eater has a Nightmare Before Christmas atmosphere with its bloody grinning moon and comical gothic designs. I would suggest Zombie Loan for the inconvenient times when a week is just too long between Soul Eater episodes :)
dark shounen animes with the same art style... and the death reaper
Both handle the shinigami topic in a shounen-oriented way. I personally hated Zombie Loan, and kinda hated Soul Eater since episode 25 or 26. Still, if you enjoyed one, you'll probabily enjoy the other.

The main characters happen to form a relationship with someone who is a zombie. The goal is to eventually find a cure so that the "zombie" won't pass away.
ZOMBIE!!!
but sankarea isn't action ....
but there's zombie in both :P
The undead theme are central theme that drives both series. Both anime(s) contain comedy, action (less in Sankarea), and drama.

girl owes a debt towards someone and helps them hunt combined with horror and supernatural events.
Besides the fact that there's a girl who is in debt, they also have the solving cases of supernatural in common.
Both animes have a mysterious feel to them. The main characters (Michiru & Mai) are similar because they both have some sort of power.

The most similar thing between these two are characters. If you like the relationship between the main trio in D.Gray-man, you'll love Shito and Chika.
Besides D.Gray-man being all about exorcists and akumas and zombie-loan being obviously about zombies, the characters that are involved and the pace of the anime themselves are similar. Good, quick and entertaining story lines. Both worth watching.
A group of 'gifted' young people who go around destroying the crazed bad guys, and pressured when the bad guys are suddenly getting smarter. Also, it isn't always clear who the bad guys are, though they are a bit too predictable in Zombie-Loan. D. Gray-man takes a while to get around to anywhere but then shows up with some really great plot twists. Zombie-Loan is short, but actually manages to pack a story-line into 13 episodes/OVAs. Sadly, both died before their time.

Zombie Loan is as short as VVV is. like in VVV, the story is somewhat about a normal girl(Sumire>Michiru) with magic "curse" that allows her to do something special (Sumire is an anti-virus>Michiru can see the death). many people find her gift usefull and she is being forced to use her ability againts her will, in order to destroy evil creatures (viruses>zombies).
also, lots of action and guns are in both animes.
plus there's lots of shojo ai in ZL tooXDDDDD
same plot_ guys against evil, excepting the light shoujo-ai from venus versus virus.

Both have zombies and good amounts of gore, however, HOTD is mainly fanservice/ecchi based where Zombie-Loan is not.
involves zombies but in a larger scale
Both have sort of fighting plots and would-be bad-ass characters if they took themselves a little more seriously.
Both series revolves around the theme of hunters taking on tasks ahead of them.
Both series contain a plot mixed with action, drama, and comedy. At the same time, there is also emotional moments among the characters and the dangers they deal with every day.
Same animation style, darker and angled.
Zombie-Loan and Bus Gamer share the same kind of low-budget animation and development, the art's pretty much alike too, although Bus Gamers level is lower then that of Zombie-Loan.
Both have Zombie's as main characters...who don't exactly look or act like "Zombies".
There's no rotting flesh or groaning while walking slow, or eating those who are still living.
Just your average, normal teenage Zombie who lives an exciting and hilarious less-than-normal life.
Both series have zombies as main characters, and deal with supernatural fighting/aciton scenes.
Both titles are authored/created by PEACH-PIT.
Life is given to something that are never meant to be alive. What happen then? Z-Loan and Rozen Maiden are great examples of that. They explores the meaning of life from many different aspects.
Both are action-pack, and has a plot with many twists and turns that will keep you wanting more.
Firstly, both were produced by Square Enix.
Both have eye-patches, Shinigami, contracts, death, and a dark mood.
But the most notable similarities are those between the characters: in both series we have the usually clumsy meganekko (Michiru/Meilin), the gay man who provides some comedy (Hakka/Grell), the always calm and kinda tedious Chinese guy whose eyes are constantly shut (Toho/Lau), the emotionless pretty girl (Kuze/Ranmao), the weird and non-human ferryman/grave-digger (Bekko/Undertaker), the cute and cheerful shota boy (Yuta/Finnian), and even the domesticated wolf (Raika/Pluto).
That said, Zombie Loan is way better.
While the characters and plot are very different, they both have nice humor and lots of action, and if you like one you'll most likely like the other one as well. Kuroshitsuji is the better one of the two though.

Two boys and one girl fight against evil. Almost equal.
Two guys and one girl going from place to place looking for trouble and getting out of it in both anime. They both leave you with somewhat an unfinished feeling and thought of bigger story behind it. Both have supernatural elements and somewhat similar characters.
Hatenkou Yuugi is a bit more darker do, but they are both lighthearted to watch and finish.
Though Zombie Loan and Fruits Basket are different in several ways, they are also similar, in several ways. Take the Characters for example. Yuuta, is like Momiji, Shita, is like Yuki, and Chika is like Kyo. Not to mention the main characters are females that are sorounded by guys. Both of these animes also go through a crisis situation at the end that seemed very similar to me. So these animes are mostly similar with characters, situations, and they both have the female charcters sorounded by guys.
The Same bumping heads of two opposite male leads and a almost annoyingly cute girl between them (in a literal way, not so much the love triangle way).
the main characters made a contract towards a chain (pandora hearts) and a company who loans lives (zombie loan)
Both have a girl with mysterious powers who's difficult to deal with. Both have the basic love triangle in denial .( one girl and two boys who won't quite yet admit they like her.) Fun atmosphere as well.
both involve resurrecting someone from the dead to put them to use.l
both are not that great of an anime (though the OVA for Princess Resurrection was stunning!)
the MC's are wimpy, but they try to change that
freaks of nature all around them.
both of MC's are the targets of MANY thing, good & bad
involves undead, zombies, basically the whole occult package.
if you REALLY have nothing to do, or you need one of those "break" anime to prepare yourself for actual good ones, than this is for you
Both have partners trying to defeat evil.
Similar art. Both are very good!
a girl is stuck with hot guys to pay a debt
Both deals with the dead and have mystery/horror/supernatural
Some of the characters are a like, for example ikki and chiko act mostly childish but they both have rare moments when they act really mature.
Both animes have comedy mixed in with action.
both are horror and with action. with a lot of bloood!!
The characters, plot, artwork, soundtrack and genre may be completely unrelated BUT INSIDE I SENSE A POWERFUL CONNECTION BETWEEN SCANTILY CLAD DRINK CANS AND BISHIE ZOMBIES
Both deals with the supernatural
Both shows involves with being dead, unable to die and using guns and swords to fight. Although, Zombie loan focuses on killing zombies, Angel beats focuses on a story on people who are unable to live their youth lives properly. Zombie Loan involves more mystical(supernatural) abilities/creatures.
Ga-Rei and Zombie-Loan have similarities by hunting spiritual stuffs
Both deals with the supernatural
~both shounen
~deals with purifying/exorcising the possessed ones
~both protagonists uses gun and sword
Both series are works of Peach-Pit, so it can be said that they share very similar art. Although Zombie Loans is meant for more mature viewers, both focuses on characters with special power. But the power they have won't last long, as they will disappear one day.
Well... Zombie Loan is the non R rated version of mnemosyne, but they've lots of simmilarities (Attention: I won't feed spoilers) an office, people who fight against evil, 1 chapter plots... if you like this genre I think Zombie loan may be the perfect election in a way more soft.
Once again, like the prequel, both series deal with undead making a contract to kill undead in exchange for something precious (in Shikabane Hime, the door to Heaven; in Zombie Loan, the life they lost)
A main character who learns that they're dead or about to die, and ends up helping a hunter of sorts (zombie hunters in Zombie-Loan and Flame Haze in Shakugan no Shana). More similarities I am too lazy to list. :)b
Both are major disappointment for their ending which did not make any sense; and people screamed for a remake or sequel.
The fighting scenes are almost the same with each other. The character's animation is great and somehow the same, and the attitude of the protagonist is also the same! I want to give Zombie Loan a 10, but the ending isn't nice, I'm asking for more. As for Devil May Cry, I got hooked to it from the very beginning so I gave it a 10. These animes are great fighting animes! With the zombies/devils, it's an action-packed anime!
They both have protagonists who are "dead" but continue to live for a price.
They also have cool action scenes in them ^_^ kakkoii!!!!!!!!!
Both shows are about sending the dead to the underworld. Both contain a lot of drama. Both have more male-male (and female-female in Zombie-Loan) innuendo rather than male-female. Also, great music.
They both have a lot of action, fighting, magic factors in them.
Even if the storylines are completely different, there’s something in Maria Holic that reminded me of Zombie Loan.
Both are set at school (even if ZL, on the opposite of MH, is not entirely set in a dormitory); both have female protagonists which are treated as slaves by their male counterpart; both have shoujo-ai and comedy, even if in different quantity.
Also, the nekomimi dorm leader in MH is similar to 2 ZL characters: Kuze Shimotsuki (since they’re both very young and cute directors of a dormitory) and Koume (similar both in physical appearance and way of talking).
Very similiar artstyles, also both have sword swinging heroes.
Both shows have a healthy mix of action and comedy.
Bleach has a lot better plot (mainly because it is a lot longer)
They both have similar main characters. Both main characters have shinigami eyes. Zombie loan's main character has eyes which allows her to see a dark ring around a person's neck. This ring symbolizes the person's impending death; once they are marked to die, a gray line, which is invisible to normal people, appears on their neck, and once the ring turns completely black, the person dies. Tsukihime's main character has shinigami eyes which allow him to see lines on all objects living or not which if he cuts (with a knife he has had with him since he was a child) will be destroyed or killed
Both have good music, similar art, dark pasts, touching relationships and a dry sense of humor. They can both be sad and funny within the same minute.
Again Two boys and one girl (Akatsuke remainds me of Mugen,Shito of Jin and Michiru of Fuu)
They both work together to survive.
Both action and shounen animes,so if you like the one you will like the other..^^
both animes are about main character(s) that are forced to wor in some shops to pay of their dept alldo zombie loan has better animation... and they have similar genres supernatural, comedi...
the characters are alike..
The main character finds out the supernatural secret involving one or more of her classmates. She then is dragged into a supernatural mess to help the person or persons she happens to find the secret of. The person she finds the secret out of and others aren't particularly pleased that their secret is out, but there is not much they can do about it.
A largely unskilled but hardworking girl joins two uniquely skilled guys and does her best to help them out as they work through supernaturally-tinged cases that their unique skill sets permit them to tackle and try to grind down some of their debt. In Zombie-Loan they hunt down zombies that shouldn't be alive; in GetBackers they get back what shouldn't be gone.
Zombie Loan and Majin Tantei Nougami Neuro are quite similar they both solve mysteries and the main females are both very timid and shy. Majin Tantei Nougami Neuro is more gorey than zombie loan but if you like that stuff and mysteries there both perfect for you.
