Synopsis"Look! In the sky...It's a bird...It's a plane...It's Super Pig?!"
One faithful day, Karin, a junior-high student, found what she thought was an injured pigglet. However, the piglet was just exausted from hunger. After the pigglet regained his health by eating Karin's apple, he revealed that he is a prince, Tonrariano III, from a planet called Booringo. Tonariano wanted to reward Karin for helping him and so he transformed her into a pig with superpowers. Karin was not at all please with the gift because she wanted to become a pretty superheroine like "Cutey Chao" (a parody of Cutey Honey) not Super Pig. Reluctantly, she became more interested in her role as Super Pig when she found out that she can turn into someone like "Cutey Chao" if she can collect 108 pearls through doing good deeds for other people.

I have only seen 3 episodes, so my ratings are all 5s because I can't justify giving a real rating. Someone who has seen more of it can write a better review.
If you manage to see this show, watch a little bit of it just to say you have.
Buurin is actually a lot of fun to watch in a group because of how different it is.
The main character's power is to turn into a super-pig and she has a massive crush on the star soccer player at her school. That's all I really have seen so far. It's okay.
If it wasn't so old, it would be called an extremely cliche (I can't do the accent thing, forgive me self glorifying grammar patrol of the internet) magical girl show. Watch it for fun with friends.

Both using girls who change into animals to fight evil. Tokyo mew mew is not as old as tonde buurin, but just as nice. Though in tokyo mew mew there are five girls and in tonde buurin only one =)
