SynopsisEikichi Onizuka and Ryuji Danma are members of infamous biker duo, the Oni Baku. When not out riding around, they can be found in school, trying to pick up young women. This is the story of the young Onizuka, who would later become the greatest teacher in Japan, and his partner Ryuji in their quest to lose their virginity and reach maturity.
They are widely feared bosozoku, and are known for their tenacity and viciousness in a fight. However, this lifestyle does not exactly endear them to the opposite gender, so they decide to change their ways. However, this is easier said than done. (Source: ANN) |

Great Teacher Onizuka and Young GTO are similar in that they both feature the protagonist Eikichi Onizuka.If you really like Onizuka as a character and you haven't seen the other anime then , go watch it! lol. GTO is about how Onizuka tries to become the greatest teacher in Japan, with plently of comedy much like it's predecessor. Young GTO (Shonan Junai Gumi) is about the adventures of the Onibaku ( Onizuka and Danma) featuring lots of comedy and action as they try and find girlfriends and fight off several opponents. Shonan Junai Gumi is a must for any fan of GTO! and same vice versa :P though most fans of Shonan Junai Gumi probably watched GTO first lol :P
Shonan Junai Gumi is about the past of onizuka..and its very funny too :D
You wanna know more about Onizukas past ? why he is so damn famous in streets and stuff ? If YES, You gotta watch Shonan Junai Gumi, because it's about his life in the past.. :) And it's really funny..

Young GTO (Shonan Junai Gumi) is very similar to Get Backers in that they both feature a duo. In Shonan Junai Gumi , Eikichi Onizuka and Danma Ryuji(Onibaku) both try to find girlfriends and become the strongest gang in Shonan.In Getbackers ,Ginji Amano and Ban Mido try and make a living in becoming retrievers, by helping people "get back" what they've lost. Both animes feature a group of two characters who fight alongside each other against tough opponents and have hilarious moments together. Hope you enjoy them! =)
