If you loved the RK manga and hated the fact that the Jinchuu Arc never made it into the anime, and if you hate how the Himura family was treated in Seisouhen, this is for you. It's only three minutes long, but it portrays the Himura family the way Nobuhiro Watsuki pictured them: as a happy, functional family living in the new era, instead of the way Seisouhen portrayed them.

The year was 1996. Rurouni Kenshin (also known as Samurai X), one of the most popular mangas in the Shonen Jump, was finally adapted to anime. This series would be considered one of the classics of the decade, thanks to it undeniable quality and spectacular story (famous for including many historic events, and lots of historical figures, being the most relevant to the story Hajime Saito)... however... in 1998 after a criminal amount of filler, RK would be canceled in the most painful way, with the best yet to come, and finishing in a normal episode, without a proper end. ...

This is basically a post-credit scene for the series. As such, this will, expectedly, be enjoyable depending on how much you liked the series. Shocking, I know.

It’s honestly nothing special though. Few lines of narration that try to sound profound (but do not success much). Kaoru leaning against a pillar. Some still images of characters are existing in the background, doing literally nothing, just reminding the audience that they did appear in the story. Kenshin appears. “Oh my god they are together wooooow!” moment (please read the part in quotation marks with appropriate deadpan delivery). The end. Well that was pretty uneventful.
