I agree with your reasoning on Monogatari. I've asked this because for me it's also nearly impossible to explain that easily.
What are your favourite aspects of the Monogatari series as a whole and the things that makes it a great piece of work?
That was my second favourite, it was refreshing to watch some mysteries without supernatural themes there ^^
What is your favourite arc/story from the Monogatari series?
Mine is probably the arc with Nadeko Medusa. It was well presented and I enjoyed having Kaiki as a narrator there
