Well S2 isn't bad by any means but it definitely is 'slower paced' than S1 which is what might've made it less exciting for you (and for me). S2 does have it's moments, but you'll have to wait for them. But nvm, it gets more exciting S3P1 onwards, and S3P2 is legendary. Considering your opinion of S2, you'll definitely like S4 over everything which too is personally my favorite season.

Season 2 may be boring at first. But the later episodes really get better. Season 3 part 1 is the most disliked arc but it gets picked up at part 2. That's where real shit starts. So I recommend you to not drop it yet.

It's not that it's worse or gets bad. Not at all. It's peaks and valleys. Coming off a very high peak of season 1, the story comes back down and then reaches another peak that really keeps rising through season 3, just to slow down and rise again.
The story can't be 100% crazy all the time.

s2 is slow at the start but gets really good in the last few eps.
s3 (specifically part 2) is the best season in the anime.
s4 is really good but can be kinda iffy sometimes imo but still a great season. So yeah, keep watching it.
S2 is definitely the worse season but you’ll regret it if u don’t sit through it to get to s3 and 4

Dropped it at S2 because I was too bored. Friend begged me to continue, telling me I was literally an episode before "The huge ass thing". I continued. I did not regret it. Power through the boring part of S2, the rest is fire.

The beginning of Season 2 has more things that need long explanation that are not exactly fun or interesting to watch, I kinda thought of it as a more informative part so that you could get things straight. Still enjoyed watching it though, especially during the later parts of Season two where it got more action packed

I personally Liked s2 more than s1, with all the thrill and suspense about who the female Titan might be and,, and the Levi Squad Annihilation is straight up depressing.

It's definitely not bad compared to the 1st season, Infact I would say it improves at certain parts.

@Anayan_Kashyap Isn't that still Season 1 though? That sounds like episodes 13–25, which is still the first season.

I do not think it is boring. When I first saw it I was really excited by all the suspense and all the different things that were happening and we were lost in it.
The Beast Titan appears in the first episode and we knew nothing about him at that point. Throughout the rest of the season, he continues to wreak havoc and we are just so curious about him, Ymir and how the Titans infiltrated the wall without breaking it.

The end of the season is just crazy. The revelation of Reiner and Berthold and the final battle are some of the best moments in the whole anime.

I just think that once you know the "secrets" this season will not be as good to watch. I do not see myself watching it for the first time and getting excited.
