DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- awww they put a new OP, that is the 2nd sound from the album (Linked Horizon - 自由への進撃) dumb guard, Eren is not a monster *sniff sniff* LOL I feel bad for poor Eren, being kick around my Levi, but he had his reason this whole trial is stupid, after Eran saves the town and blocks the whole in the wall, now they want to sentence him to death. not fair using Mikasa's statement against her. **the new ending [Great Escape] is amazing too. |

| Whole trial thing is dumb. He saves the town and is humanity's 1 in a million shot against the titans, so better put him to death! Guess it's to illustrate that who needs titans when humanity will just end up being it's own worst enemy, but still don't like it. Oh yeah, hate Levi, he can die anytime as far as im concerned. Try way too hard to make him the ultimate stone faced badass. |
New OP song is decent I guess. Looks decent enough, go Linked Horizon! Poor Eren ;.; My favorites part from the episode would be Levi being a boss at the trial. SCIENCE TIME. Great episode, they adapted this from the manga. Levi ftw.  |

| I only caught the last half of the livestream, but I'll go back and watch tomorrow once subs are out. 4.9/5, if only because it bothers me when people are animated in crowds to stand in perfect lines. Seeing Eren's tooth going flying was a moment I've been looking forward to for a while, and having it end where it did isn't necessarily a cliffhanger, but was one of my favorite moments in the manga. The new OP was downright gorgeous. Not as catchy as the first, but epic enough that I love it just as much. |

| Loved the new OP and ED. Yeah, I loved this part in the manga and it was adapted nicely, so I'm happy with this episode. Also, Levi's kick was splendid. |

A similar picture is actually present on the back cover of every Shingeki no Kyojin manga volume and whenever a character dies (like Marco), they disappear from it  So I think it's very cool that they included it in the anime :P (Notice how Annie is a bit TALLER than Eren, compared to manga where she is about head shorter) |

| The first OP and the second ED are the ideal combination for me and I wouldn't mind them for all 24 eps. The second ending is gorgeous! * Extra scenes in the beginning with Pixis and Erwin, which is a plus - I barely could stand the city folks' attitude. Anyway, the idea is that in the military and among the citizens, the appearance of a human-titan is an issue of greatest importance and heated debates. * The capo di tutti capi aslo makes an entrance - Dallis Zackley (according to the manga translation). Can't say anything about him, except that doesn't seem a person easily swayed by the moment's flow. * We'll see more of the Scouting Legion soldiers, so just a pic of various reactions of them watching the 160 cm Heichou beating a chained "existence" that will save their asses. * Speaking of which, the "emotionless" Mikasa, and the "non-caring" Eren:  Overall better animation, the OST is awesome as usual, and the ED is outstanding - 5/5. Fuh, I love I have the kids back! |
| Finish watching the raws. The OP holy shit, to see it in HD was really gorgeous! They really put nice subtle hint there. Very short recap, at least no one will complain about that. Nice they add new scene at the beginning especially that Pixis & Irvin scene. I never knew the court was that big O_o The one in manga look kind of small in comparison haha. The seiyuu does a great job in the trial scene. I like this part in the manga because it shows the politic in the capital. Love that Eren defend Mikasa part. Lol Hanji at the prison XD Also Levi beating the shit of Eren is the highlight for me. That kick must damn strong to took out Eren's tooth. It kind of funny to see Eren scared when Levi ask if he hate him. Lol it end the exact same part in the end of the same chapter in manga. All in all good ep. |

| Holy crap, an anime where I love every single piece of music they put in it, be it the OPs, EDs or OST. I don't think any other studio would've done this anime any more justice than Wit Studio. It's like I can feel that the people who were making this were aiming to make themselves proud and pleased first for the best quality they can possibly put out before seeking to please the audience. |
