| Levi is still badass till the end. <3 I love the part wherein he goes all berserk after knowing his friends are dead. His cries are real. I love how he smiles when he's talking with Isabel and Farlan, and how he gets so emotional when he sees them dead and their bodies are scattered. His seiyuu, Kamiya Hiroshi, is exceptional. I have so many screenshots here. It's just that this OVA has so much feels. 11/10 |

| I didnt even like Levi that much before, but he was so cool here. Kamiya Hiroshi is the best seiyuu ever I swear. I teared up a bit as well. (but that disgusting titan, whoah) |

Fate said: ...All in all, this is a mediocre OVA. Forced drama, lack conclusion, we did not learn much about Levi despite this backstory & trying too hard to make Levi cool. 6/10 from me. It had potential, but fell flat. Though, I liked the 1st OVA, I agree with this after seeing the 2nd. |

| Them feels ;-; But, really, OST, the brilliant work of seiyuu and overall atmosphere was full of sadness and traumatic. Guess, one of those exceptions, when animation comes out better than manga. |

| Awesome, the whole expedition was really well done and of course Levi raging... damn! Great OVAs, I'm even more pumped for season 2 now and I didn't even think that was possible. |
| Damn!! That Levi brutal attack on Titan and screamo left me in fear. That's a badass captain Levi for you. The man to be feared. I knew Farlan and Isabelle will going to die so no surprise for me. |

| Of course, those two will die. Levi was naive back then. Now, I understand his character in the TV series clearly. To be honest, I thought Levi and Erwin has a strong friendship bond. I thought, that's their past, but oh well. I realize now that Erwin is one stone cold dude. | Damn, Levi rage mode was intense. Totally called that they would die, wish they didn't though. Levi actually smiled because of them! Then BOOM, they're gone. Regardless, very interesting backstory, great animation, great action, same awesome soundtrack, good characters (made me like Levi more), and Levi's VA's performance in that ending scene was fantastic. 9/10 [quote=Tengai]Of course, those two will die. But yeah, Erwin is way more "stone cold" that I'd previously thought, and this OVA definitely fleshed out his and Levi's relationship a bit. Also, what was with the green stuff Levi saw when he looked up while leaving the city? That was a little confusing. |

| I really liked how in the manga, he saw his friends die right in front of him and also how it really emphasized the choice of Levi leaving his friends and going alone to face Erwin, or taking all three with him. And that's why when Eren had a choice of turning into a titan or relying on his comrades, Levi told him that he doesn't know which is the right answer and that all Eren could do is try to make a decision he wouldn't regret. Here's the scans from the manga highlighting the choice Levi made. And here's what it lead to during the scene with Eren in the forrest: "Decide. You either believe in yourself or the soldiers of the Survey Corps, myself included. I don’t know the right answer. I never have. Even if I believed in myself and the decisions of the comrades who’ve earned my trust, the result was always a complete mystery. That’s why, you should just do your best to make a decision you won’t regret." But what I really liked about the anime compared the the manga is how they made Levi's scene much more emotional and how it emphasized why this backstory of Levi is titled "No Regrets" |

| If there's one thing Attack on Titan is never lacking in, it'd be execution. The deaths were flagged and coming from miles away, but the manner in which they were portrayed was absolutely grotesque and traumatic. I don't remember the main series having this much gore, the severed head combined with the deafening silence was haunting. Isabel and Farlan's expressions conveyed the sheer anguish that was felt moments before their deaths. I have to give respect to Erwin, he's been through all of that god knows how many times and has stood strong, embodying everything a leader ought to be. He's right, humans are fragile and this was Levi's big wake up call (and to some degree my own). Once again phenomenal execution and a splendid albeit all too short addition to the world building. This makes me want to see Erwin's first expedition now, he's piqued my interest a great deal. 8.5/10 |

| That was great. Though his two friends' death was better in the manga. There were painful angsty panels that they didn't show. And I also prefer the manga's scenes of Levi and Erwin at the end. I like Levi more in the anime though. He showed his feeling here a little better than the manga imo. God Bless Kamiya Hiroshi. |

| Better than whole series. Definitely. Levi's character developement was great. I knew they were gonna die but this was... feelz were all over the place. And the execution of OAD was also brilliant, soundtrack, everything. Gotta say I'll really miss Isabel. And what's even better - this OAD is very self-contained as it has the plot independent on main story and you could enjoy it either way. |
| Omfg, that was crazy! That was rough when he first found Isabel, especially, and the following fight against the titan was intense! I was expecting something more in how Levi came to be utterly devoted to following Erwin, though. Regardless, 5/5 for this episode! Overall 9/10 for SnK:KS. |

| I found this ova good but i think in general, the writter could have developed better the story of one of the most acclaimed characters in Shingeki no Kyojin, in mi opinion the ova leave many gaps that needs to be clarified for example: How Levi learned to use the vertical maneuvering equipment? Despite everything, was good. |

| Damn that was impressive, these two ova's were a lot more entertaining than the main show all together! Pretty sick shit especially the dramatic fight at the end which was also very intense! Really lovely ending for these two ova's! |

| everything was great, but I was in love with the animation of the Abnormal Titan that killed Isabel & Farlan. I actually got goosebumps. |

| That. Was. EPIC! Really got chills when Levi went berserk over that abnormal Titan. Poor Isabella and Farlan tho :( And Levi's words reminded me of Eren in the forest. That exact same thing happened to him. It was brilliant OVA and splendidly executed about Levi's past and the bonds with his friends and Erwin. 8.5/10 |

| Kinda expected that to happen to Levi's friends. I mean why else were they not in the main series? Still didn't lose impact. And from that day forward Levi will never ever regret. |
| Nice 2 extra episodes about Levi , Great animation as usual especially in those scenes using the 3D maneuver gear it was beautifully done . A Good Watch . |

| That was... Sad, very sad. I'm glad that some tears dropped while watching this OVA because I was almost feeling guilty for not crying for the numerous deaths in the TV series. I liked because it showed some of Levi's background story, and how he joined the Survey Corps. And man, that was tragic! Very, very tragic. The bad thing of Snk is that they treat the deaths of the characters in a very cold and cruel way, but in this OVA it was more emotional, so I'm glad. Overall 8/10 |
