Dude why the people who are demanding for adaptation are the same people who hating this. I'm a VN reader and tbh this is like a pretty good adaptation. Is it perfect? No, but if you think they need to stuff 100+ hours long VN to possibly 2/3 season, there will be a lot of cut content. Not to mention they also need to make the anime accessible for people who just know about Muv Luv.

I would say it's a nice change from the usual hero/adventure style Isekai manga where the focus is on battle/adventure/saving the world or 'not so serious story' like reincarnate as an Onsen or a Spider. This manga focus more on politics, village building, like 90% politics 10% fighting. The protagonist have the usual 'convenient' power up but it doesn't feel OP...because it's politics...and they are not AI.
Since the story is focus a LOT on politics, it have a solid world structure and political structure, to the point I don't understand some part of it. You have war here and there, war in distant land, backstage ...

It's not HOTD but it's pretty solid. You still have typical idealistic MC, a betrayal type person, super OP dude, convenient character connection, or how smooth things went, you also have the usual 'a god-like' character that can moves wherever they want or know what's happening in the background. They also played with politics and science, which isn't bad. Some people thinks it's bad some will think it's good. But I feel like some part is more realistic than HOTD. How the government respond to an unknown epidemic or how untrained character react to death early on or how romance ...

As much as I love Steins;Gate and Steins;Gate 0, I still prefer the Visual Novel. The first SG was pretty much a carbon copy of the VN and I love it. 10/10. And I was expecting that for SG 0. Because the anime version and VN is different, and it dissapoint me. I really really recommend people to buy SG 0 or at least watch a YT playthrough because my god... IT'S AMAZING. I don't understand why the score is so low. Like I understand that Touma is not the best character and Index is really really annoying. Touma's fighting scene is not that impressive because all he did is just doing some inspirational speech, waving his hand and one punching the enemies, he also have the trait 'somehow always in the right place at the right time' or in this case the opposite.
But I feel like this is one of the most well made world I can recall. Every big arc have some connection like how Index arc destroyed the Three Diagram which leads to MISAKA arc. ...

As someone who is familiar with WW2 background this anime have a lot of historical reference. The story and the character is...okay. But the visual and the sound is really really good. The details for the tank, the equipment, the stereotypes of each school(country). The person who make this anime really knows their stuff. Like the marching song each school match their country, the uniform also match the real stuff.
But as every fighting anime you have the usual plot armor and the speed for each tank...just ignore it or it will make your eyes bleed. Someone on Youtube did a video about all of the ...

For an Idol based anime it's very unique compared to other anime in similar genre. Mostly I'm going to talk what makes this anime is pretty special.
Story. The story actually feels...very realistic. You start as this small idol agency who no one knows, doing small concert in countryside, starting to get bigger and bigger as time goes on, and you can tell how much they have grown. While the first half act as a character introduction which for some might be boring, some are pretty funny and show their own uniqueness. For me Cinderella girls is a big disappointment for me. The first Idolmaster was one of my favourite anime because it's unique. And the second installment just scrap everything that make the first one unique.
The first installment doesn't have cute/beautiful character models, hell I might say the model choice is pretty weird. But one of thing that really impress me is the story. It have pretty realistic story and timeline, you start as a very small idol but you can see their growth. And you can see each character have their own personal problem and their strength. 2018 and I still come back to this anime. And still listen the music in my phone.
I think the best part of this anime is the song. If you love J-POP or J-Rock then most likely you will love it. Every sing they use inside the anime have their own uniqueness, and some of them pretty heart touching. 10/10 Story wise there is not much to mention. Good enough for a musical comedy anime. The one thing that I can mention is how refreshing and funny the story. 7/10 Art wise they did some extra work by making some MV for the song. Also the ED art ...
