DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- So the series' finale details more of Kaneki's fight and struggle against his adversaries. Man, I wish they did a better job at building the plot for him. Everything felt all over the place and I didn't get an emotional attachment from this episode at all. What a poor adaptation tbh. Seriously...and lol, 6 years later. |

| this was probably the most garbage adaptation i've ever witnessed so far. the manga wasn't even good in the first place, but to butcher it that hard is just unbelievable first season had a steady pace, but it would've taken them 3 to 4 seasons to fully adapt with that pace, so they just said "fuck it, we'll just finish that shit in one season" and thus this abomination was born |

| Worst season I've ever seen in anything. This was a real disaster, a nightmare. Pierrot not only gave people a shitty adaptation; truth be told, they did the worst thing you could ever do to anime fans. They spoiled the content headlines in the worst possible way. If the world was slightly different, this might have as well gone as a media crime. 2/10 and I'm not even sure why I gave it 2. |
| Pretty average finale to an abysmal, more of less, adaption. Episode focused a lot of on Kaneki and it really is a pity that I didn’t honestly feel much for him. It was pleasing to see him finally get some happiness in his pretty much dreadful life though and his conversation with Furuta after their fight was a bit heartrending to see, he’s really been through a lot and those few minutes just showed how much Kaneki has matured and moved on from them. Furuta’s backstory, on the other hand, felt totally bitter and didn’t make me feel anything at all, it really felt like a last minute rush to just squeeze this in. During both these events though, the soundtracks delivered and it was great to have that as company. Clowns were utterly defeated and the reintroduction of many of the offline or supposedly dead characters were just meh, it didn’t do anything out of the ordinary to make it stand out or so to say imo. Even to the very end, I’m still perplexed by how the ghoul transformation really works and the fight between Kaneki and Furuta just showcased why exactly. Kaneki even managed to unlock some wings later on before finishing off Rize’s remains. How’d Rize even appear there? Well, it was just tasteless directing. It’s been three or so years now since when I first picked up Tokyo Ghoul and it truly saddens me how poorly it signs off. I’ve never been the biggest fan of the franchise but something about the first two seasons kept me watching and wanting for more and that alone made the series memorable to me, but the following two seasons of Re have been downright despicable and haven’t given off even a hint of that (now) lost feeling. As such, obviously gutted but here’s to hoping we get a remake of this series that is handled with more care this time! |

| Messy adaptation, many things went wrong, but still had enough redeeming qualities to make it enjoyable and I thought that the happy ending was pretty cute. 5/10 with one closed eye. |

| I DON'T care what the Haters say, solid 10/10 for me, because I got all my wishes. Kakuja Final Form Kaneki vs Kakuja Furuta, Kakuja Tatara, Kurona, Amon and Kaneki and Touka scene and ending too. Also I treat the Anime as its awesome thing too. |

Well, that's not an opinion I should necessarily take at heart, cause tbf I personally thought the manga version wasn't that great. You yourself can make the recommendation for the manga if you like, but for me being a mostly an anime-only person, trying to recommend a manga to someone is like me being a butcher in a huge city trying to suggest which bakery has the best bread or donuts. |

| I'm just gonna say I'm really disappointed they didn't use Unravel in the last fight. They used it randomly in Re but not the last episode. Also this started to feel less like Tokyo Ghoul more like a random Shonen battle anime. It seemed everyone had some sort of final form and power up compared to seasons 1 and 2 where it was just normal kagunes. The pase seemed better towards the end but I seriously don't know why they didn't just make more seasons. They could have made more money off blu-rays and stuff. Oh well time to read the manga |

| Thank God this tragedy is over. I feel so bad for Tokyo Ghoul as a franchise, so much wasted potential. Screw people and companies who were responsible for this. Hope that some day, some people who care and are competent make a remake of TG. Until then... rest in piece. |

I found Parasyte the anime to the perfect. Perfect flow, pacing, character development , fights, etc. I did not feel once that the anime was skipping over things or lacking any details from the manga that would make it less good I think the person you responded to rated all the Tokyo Ghoul series 10/10, btw. Just a heads up :P |
