And as the manga says. They don't HAVE to add the bikini, but they don't have to add background music either. | It's probably one of the most unique premises I've seen in a while in anime, so I'm glad the show is really starting to gain some traction as pre-Kohaku, it was beginning to get a little stale. .. and I agree with others, this episode wasn't filler. Filler content has no impact or bearing on the canon story. This EP clearly does because it affects how the village perceives Senku, and ultimately whether he's accepted into the village or not. |

What do you mean "like this"? What's wrong with him saying that? That's exactly what he said in the original japanese dub (I'm a little interested in this Ruri woman). |
| Honestly, the less screentime Taiju and Tsukasa receive, the better this series gets. I'm really enjoying this new arc so far. Definitely way better than the previous one. Kohaku and Chrome are such a great addition to the cast. I really like the chemistry they have between each other and with Senkuu. Overall, it was another nice episode. |

| Well this was a very chill and funny episode; this is nothing to complain about. Kohaku in a swimsuit is noice. Looks like Senku will use the power of ramen to bait. I wonder what's happening with the other two |

I know I m an easy guy, I mean give me a good tsuntsun and I will ship it good, BUT... BEST GIRL here, it is quite amusing to see Kohaku reacting to all that stuff. I dont think this series should be watched with critical analysis, people trying to think too much of what it is (disappointment awaits). For me this really comes as really enjoyable and funny, as long as you dont think too deeply about it, which is how most of the anime should be enjoyed (there is also serious and more thoughfull stuff that should be appraised and honored properly vs the more laidback stuff, but both are very valid forms of entertainment). I have been throughly entertained from the day I started seeing this, last saturday, to the point I saw 6 episodes right then, and now eagerly waiting to see what happens on ep9. |

| Compasses do not point to true north. They point to magnetic north which is not in the same place as true north. Senku should have known this. So it could be that the stars did not change their position at all because the compass was off. It also should have taken half a day at least to build that furnace. There's no way a furnace built specifically for iron-working would have already been there. Why don't they focus on creating a written language and paper production? They have all the materials needed for paper right there. Knowledge could be spread and recorded with a written language essentially creating a skilled workforce that could help build the Kingdom of Science. This show really can't be taken seriously. Other than that, it's enjoyable and Kohaku and her sister are really attractive. |

| Super fun episode, Senku looks like he's talking a chain of achievements in order to achieve the last achievement that is making the antibiotics, sort of like you'd be doing in a video game. |
