This is a list of shows which center around an old person having some extreme skill built up through a lifetime of training or some arcane knowledge/wisdom accrued over the decades. Specifically, the MC acts as a sort of parental figure in some way for other characters.

This show prompted me to make this stack. It's pretty spot on in terms of the stack theme and tropes. Haven't finished it yet so I can't give a thorough review, but it's promising so far. VA is good, but the sudden 3DCG mixed in is a little distracting
