Paradoxes are seemingly absurd or contradictory statements or propositions which when investigated may prove to be well founded or true.

Logical puzzlers that contradict themselves in a baffling way

A lot of life's truth are paradoxical, and naturally, these truths and lessons have been repeatedly exercised via anime and manga

Well, here is a simple outline of a few set of paradoxial truths and one animanga representation for each...
Tokyo Ghoul
TV, 2014, 12 eps Me:- Author:-
=Paradox of Grief=

Experiencing loss and suffering is what makes us fully aware and alive to the love, beauty and goodness that surrounds us. The more bravely we allow ourselves to experience grief, the sooner we heal.

We need to let it rage through us with its full force if we are to process it effectively.
Koe no Katachi
Movie, 2016, 1 ep Me:- Author:-
=Paradox of Change=

Change occurs when one becomes what he is, not when he tries to become what he is not

The more you try to become something you're not, the less likely you are to change. The more you accept yourself as you are, the more likely you are to chaange. Self-acceptance, much like Shoya ishida of Silent Voice.

When people allow themselves to be fully and awarely in touch with who they currently are, change and growth then emerge as the inevitable and natural outcome of such contact and genuine self knowledge
Monster
TV, 2004, 74 eps Me:- Author:-
=Paradox of Imperfection=

The more honest you are about your faults, failuers and imperfections, the more perfect you appear. Embracing our imperfection perfects us

Wolfgang Grimmer and Katsuki Bakugo of Hero Academia, pretty much stories with a theme of redemption.

The fact that we often receive these imperfections and flaws more positively, like a courageous act.
Shinseiki Evangelion
TV, 1995, 26 eps Me:- Author:-
=Paradox of Self-Love=

The more you can love yourself, the more you are able to love others

One of the most intelligent and maddening message from NGE. The loss of our ability to love, protect, validate and nurture ourselves at a deep level. How others teach us to love ourselves. Being capable of holding the same strength for others, as our inner resources develop.

There is no way to harbor hatred for yourself and not affect those around you.
Fate/stay night
TV, 2006, 24 eps Me:- Author:-
=Paradox of Choice=

When the number of choices increases, so does the difficulty of knowing what is best and making decision. More is Less. More options, more stress, less satisfaction

Situations full of choices, tough decisions, rough mistakes. Taking the high road or the easy street A bit similar to Emiya Kiritsugu's Choice Dilemma. Perhaps harems also represent the Paradox of Choice

Learning to choose is hard. Learning to choose well is harder. And learning to choose well in a world of unlimited possibilities is harder still, perhaps too hard. -Barry Schwartz-
Digimon Xros Wars
TV, 2010, 30 eps Me:- Author:-
=Paradox of Non-Human Affinity=

Looking only into the Eyes of Distantly Related Cousins Does Not Mean that you, a Human Being evolved from another Species, Express Feelings of Love while animals do not, for them love is not described in an anthropocentric way as We describe it.

in Digimon It shows that Creatures Who Wanted a Solitary Life Are Anthropomorphized for Human Desire, Which for the human himself does not concern him like throwing a Frisbee as a test of intelligence for Dogs to Demonstrate Their Intelligence.

"I prefer the company of animals more than the company of humans. Certainly, a wild animal is cruel. But to be merciless is the privilege of civilized humans" -Sigmund Freud-
Koukaku Kidoutai
Movie, 1995, 1 ep Me:- Author:-
=Ship of Theseus Paradox=

If you restored a ship by replacing each of its wooden parts, would it remain the same ship?

A contradiction of identity. A classic from ancient Greece famously described by Plutarch. In Ghost in the Shell, humans can undergo cybernetic enhancements that replace their biological body parts with "cyberized mechanic parts. Makoto Kusanagi questions her humanity and sense of identity in her augmented body.
Slam Dunk
TV, 1993, 101 eps Me:- Author:-
=Paradox of Effort=

The more effort you put into something, the more effortless it appears

Effortless, elegant performances are often the result of a large volume of effortful, gritty practice

Rukawa Kaede of Slam Dunk

Unstoppable on the court, lives and breathes basketball to the point he is able to shoot free throws with his eyes closed against Toyotama High due to injuring his eye meaning he could not see depth nor estimate distances. All that being a result of millions of shots taken.
Boku no Hero Academia
TV, 2016, 13 eps Me:- Author:-
=Paradox of Projection and Insecurity=

The more you hate a trait in someone else, the more likely you are avoiding it in yourself

You often avoid what you don't like about yourself only to release the inner tension through another outlet. Characteristics in others that bother us are reflections of the parts of ourselves that we deny. Subconsciously projecting our insecurities onto others. Much like Katsuki Bakugo of Hero Academia

"The flaws you see in others are actually a reflection of yourself." Eve Branson.
Gyakkyou Burai Kaiji: Ultimate Survivor
TV, 2007, 26 eps Me:- Author:-
=Paradox of Money=

To Gain Money, Lose Money

Losing money is a part of wealth building. When you learn how to lose money in a way you don't get wiped out, you can keep getting wealthier. Losing money is exactly how investors build wealth. It's required for long-term gains. Sometimes you have to pay to learn. Scared money don't make money. Lose Money to Make Money

Gyakkyou Burai Kaiji although is a gambling anime but is one I believe exemplifies this.
Re:Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu
TV, 2016, 25 eps Me:- Author:-
=Paradox of Failure=

The more you fail, the more likely you are to succeed

Success comes from improvement and improvement comes from failure. Fail more to succeed more.

Our greatest moments of growth often stem directly from our greatest failures. Don't fear failure, just learn to fail smart and fast. Getting punched in the face builds a strong jaw. Most of the typical shonen with the "Never give up" theme, but I'd like to go with Subaru of Rezero. He's someone who fails A LOT, and with each failure becomes more likely to succeed.
Kino no Tabi: The Beautiful World
TV, 2003, 13 eps Me:- Author:-
=Paradox of Fear=

What we fear doing most is usually what we most need to do.

Fear, when avoided, become limiters on our growth and life. Getting closer to our fears gets us closer to finding growth. I believe a lot of anime/manga exemplify this. The theme of facing and overcoming your fears much like Made in Abyss, Your lie in April, Juuni Kokuki, Angel Beats, Net-juu no Susume, Tokyo Ghoul, Evangelion, Monster etc
Wolf's Rain
TV, 2003, 26 eps Me:- Author:-
=Paradox of Death=

The more afraid you are of death, the less you'll be able to enjoy life

Know your death in order to truly live your life. Not intended to be morbid, rather, to clarify, illuminate, and inspire. Death is inevitable. Live while you're alive. I'd say some of our psychological seinen embody this but I'd like to go with Wolf's Rain, in spite of their living aimlessly without a purpose, Kiba states multiple times that he isn't afraid to die, as he thinks no wolves should, and demonstrates this indifferent approach to death.
