This anime is my antidepressant, when I am feeling down I come to this, just a bunch of cutie patootie babies getting into lots of trouble with their siblings, it's funny and warming. When you have a stressful day, it's nice to see a few babies be silly beans.

Just a thoughtful Isekai about a pharmaceutical researcher reincarnated as the son of a major medical family. It's a warm and cozy isekai series that tackles topics like patient compassion, and managing public health, and all around very calming to watch. It also doesn't have creepy fanservice.

Set in a fictionalized Tang-dynasty China, this follows the story of a young girl who grows up in a brothel. She learns to use medicine from her dad, and her headstrong attitude is often an area of contention in the rigid imperial court. At looks fluffy on the surface, but the later episodes had me fully drawn in.

This was the defining anime of my childhood, it's about giant monsters and robots, romance, and finding your true self against all odds. The animation was breathtaking when it came out in 2007, it's still beautiful now.

17th Century Edo Japan meets Industrial Revolution and a zombie pandemic. I thoroughly enjoyed this series because it offered a really refreshing take on "flawed protagonist saves the world." The plot in my opinion is also pretty unique, and it has lots of steampunk visuals.

A story about a group of criminals sent to an island to acquire the fruit to eternity for the shogun. It's completely the opposite of the super optimistic shonen manga (Demon Slayer, My Hero Academia, etc). I think you will enjoy this also because it has a more pan-Asian interpretation to life and death. The anime is also beautiful to look it, especially with the Buddhist-inspired imagery.

This anime made me laugh a lot! What if we had Harry Potter but in the world of demons? I really like the unique color palette, and Iruma actually has a lot of character growth throughout the first season. It's a silly little watch that will make you feel sentimental and laugh.

A great vampire who turns to sand the moment he gets scared--that's all I have to say haha. This anime made me laugh so hard, and I think you will fall in love with John the Armadillo. A great slapstick comedy anime with a very unique color palette/visual aesthetic.

There is some creepy fanservice in Eps 10, 11, and 12, but this was singlehandedly one of my fave animes for how funny it was. I still rewatch the episodes because it is like a layer cake of comedy. It was made by a studio specializing in horror, which I think yielded an even more visually fun anime.

A bi-coded gender-bender anime. What happens when your best guy friend turns into a beautiful lady? It's super hilarious, and I like they don't shy away from the fact that these two friends may have changing feelings, if you catch my drift.
