Rate Your Music (often abbreviated to RYM) is an online collaborative database of music releases and film releases. Users can catalog items from their personal collection, review them, and assign ratings in a five-star rating system. There are plans to split up the site into three, a Music (Sonemic), Games (Glitchwave) and Films one (Cinemos), for many years now.

Japanese Animation is included in the film database, as full-length films, short-length films and even relatively small miniseries. For this list, this differs from the site's custom chart because of two rules; if the works are tied, the one with most ratings win over; and that if it has less than than 100 ratings, it will not be considered here.

Creator's Commnentary:
1. Nothing against it, but I can't ignore that RYM's film community is way more critical to anime than sites like IMDB or Letterboxd, as they rate them lower than the usual (just compare the quantity of anime with +8 score here to any other site).
