Laidback fantasy
Anime
Life in a fantasy world is always full of new adventures, friends and places to explore. But sometimes I find myself tired of always eating the same plate of ecchi, harem, and reused plots.
Isekai and fantasy often exist around some greater purpose like saving or conquering the world, protecting a nation or rescuing friends; but the items in this list take a break from that to deliver a much appreciated "laidback" approach to fantasy.
Sometimes as part of an overarching plot, or perhaps as standalone stories, the conflicts in these worlds are faced by the protagonists casually, as part of their Arcadian everyday lives. But this does not make the plot any less interesting, rather it makes their stories extremely relaxing to follow.
While the anime rating or description might not initially capture your attention, I suggest you give them a try!
If you want a break from your traditional over-sexualized, life-or-death fantasy worlds and characters, the items in this list may be of your liking!
