These are shows that have a score of 7.25 or below that I feel deserved a bit more love. Basically, shows that are underrated or disliked by the vast majority, but they can be really fun for the niche audience it appeals to.

Disclaimer: I'm NOT saying these shows are actually hidden gems or amazing masterpieces misunderstood by all. What I am saying is that most people make the show seem way worse than it really is (in my humble opinion). So if any of these entries sound interesting to you, I encourage you to give them a try before writing it off based on scores or reviews.
Isekai Maou to Shoukan Shoujo no Dorei Majutsu
TV, 2018, 12 eps Me:- Author:7
This show is a standard OP MC followed by a harem of cute girls. However, the ecchi scenes are usually well-timed and can be quite funny. The characters are (usually) likable even if they're kinda bland. But the plot of the first season is what made me score this higher than similar shows in the field.
Kaifuku Jutsushi no Yarinaoshi
TV, 2021, 12 eps Me:- Author:8
Warning: This show features disturbing content and a morally questionably character. Do NOT watch this show if you have a strong sense of righteousness, pacifism, or forgiveness. Otherwise, I would watch this with an open mind and see what happens when a person goes out of their way to get revenge.
Leadale no Daichi nite
TV, 2022, 12 eps Me:- Author:6
Admittedly this show can get pretty boring at times. But, I think it's a breathe of fresh air in that the MC doesn't strive for riches, power, fame, or survival. Instead, they simply wish to explore and live a slow life in the new world they've been transported to.
Monster Musume no Iru Nichijou
TV, 2015, 12 eps Me:- Author:9
This show is one of the best harem-ecchi comedies I've ever watched in my life. The main character is genuinely kind, caring, and funny. The ecchi comedy is fresh and hilarious due to the abnormal anatomy of the girls. Finally, the interactions between the girls are all enjoyable and entertaining to watch.
Seirei Gensouki
TV, 2021, 12 eps Me:- Author:7
This show checks off pretty much every element of a standard self-insert isakei. However, what I like about this show is how seamlessly it transitions from arc to arc. Each step in the main character's journey feels natural and well-timed rather than forced. As a result, no particular arc feels too long, boring, or out of place.
Sentouin, Hakenshimasu!
TV, 2021, 12 eps Me:- Author:9
Most people don't like this show because the main character is a repeat sex offender. While I think it's reasonable that this show's humor won't suit everybody, I encourage to give this a try if your more open-minded to this stuff. While the main character is a literal villain, I think his actions are actually well-written jokes rather than disgusting self-inserts for the darker side of the anime community.
Shin no Nakama ja Nai to Yuusha no Party wo Oidasareta node, Henkyou de Slow Life suru Koto ni Shimashita
TV, 2021, 13 eps Me:- Author:7
Although the ending is garbage, everything before that was actually quite the interesting watch. This show can be relaxing, emotional, thought-provoking, and funny all in one episode. If the ending had not been butchered by bad writing and low-quality animation, this show could have been a masterpiece of a short story.
Uchi no Ko no Tame naraba, Ore wa Moshikashitara Maou mo Taoseru kamo Shirenai.
TV, 2019, 12 eps Me:- Author:7
If you really like childcare shows, give this one a go. It tends to be less serious than similar shows like Bunny Drop or Poco's Udon World. Instead, it just focuses solely on the wholesome relationship between an adventurous man and a lonely girl brought together by fate.
Masamune-kun no Revenge
TV, 2017, 12 eps Me:- Author:7
I have a personal enjoyment of shows where the main characters dislike each other, but gradually form a bond that develops into a natural romance. There are a lot of bumps and setbacks on the journey, but some of them are used nicely to develop the MC as a standalone character.
Renai Flops
TV, 2022, 12 eps Me:- Author:7
On the surface, this show appears to be another bland and uninspired Harem Rom-Com. However, to people very familiar with the genre, there are some oddities that suggest there is more than what meets the eye. I strongly encourage you to watch the entire show if you want an unexpected deep and emotional story.
