These are all Chinese animations that I’ve watched and loved, am currently watching, or am planning to watch. I hope you all find some shows you’ll like with this list. Some of these are my favorite series ever while others are just things I have an interest in. Enjoy!

These two find themselves in a whirlwind of controversies, politics, and fantastical enemies as they have to learn to trust each other. With amazing fights, character development, and fluid animation, this series is one of the best animated series I’ve ever seen in my life. Watch this series, you’ll be missing out.

In order to get back the honor of his clan he vows to get his strength back for a fight he arranged with her a few years later. This young man goes through perilous journey after perilous journey in order to be strong enough for the woman he truly loves and to regain his honor for the humiliation he endured from the woman who embarrassed his clan. This is a must watch.

He eventually ends up leaving his father in order to get stronger when he finds a young girl who is also incredibly talented. This series is a fantastic and wondrous new world with an amazing magic system and incredible characters. Watch as he grows up, falls in love, and becomes the strongest person in this new world.

Thousand Autumns is a story about an old trickster who finds an injured man who is pure, upright, and honest. The path they take together is confusing and fun and so they grow a bond with one another. It’s a fun series with a rather emotional spin as well.definitely watch this.

Scum Villain is a hilarious series about a man who’s transported into a novel that he hates. In this novel, he’s forced to play a villain whose fate is to be brutally murdered. Hoping to get out of this terrible situation, he decides to be as friendly as possible to the protagonist but shenanigans ensue when he’s realized his character has already been pretty brutal to him. This series is another must watch.

Heaven Official’s Blessing is probably one of the most popular donghua to exist in a long, long time. It’s beautiful animated, just like Mo Dao Zu Shi and it’s by the same author as well. Xie Lian, ascends to the realm of Gods again and while he’s up there he’s assigned a task to help settle a situation with the people on Earth. It’s incredibly funny and the series itself is very well written as well. You’ll fall in love with the characters so easily, this is a must watch.

Legend of the White Snake is a great movie about a woman who forgets her identity and begins to find interest in a guy who should technically be her enemy. It’s soooo adorable and emotional and I cried the first time I watched it. Definitely give this movie a go!

This movie is about a man who finds out he is the reincarnation of a God all while discovering how to use that God’s abilities. Other incarnations of Gods are after his life and the people who he cares about as well. This movie is fun and emotional and it’s a really good watch. It even has an English dub that’s worth the watch. Definitely give this a go.

If you’re in the mood for something silly and romantic this is the show for you. After forced into an arranged marriage and abandoned by her family the main character of this show has to deal with many new experiences and situations. With her special ability she tries to make do but ends up catching the attention of the man she didn’t want to in the first place. A cute and funny donghua that deserves to be seen.

This donghua about a group of guys just being themselves all the while breaking off into pairs and falling in love. They’re sweet and incredibly hilarious and if you’ve read the manhua you’ll love this. It’s seriously so much fun. You have to watch this.

Spirit Pact is a funny BL donghua that had made waves when it first came out. The two main leads have so much chemistry and the animation was pretty dang good too. I think my favorite part though is the world building in all of it. It’s just a great BL story and that’s the good bit. Definitely watch this.

This adorable series is about a guy who has cat characteristics and a guy who makes sure to help him keep it a secret. It’s probably the sweetest slice of life I’ve ever seen. With the little hints of BL here and there it’s just a sickeningly adorable show. Definitely a must watch!

This series is about an idiot who goes around accidentally offending everyone he comes across. It’s a rather funny show and all of the interactions with the main character will make you laugh. I wouldn’t say it’s a must watch but if you’re looking for something funny to pass the time, definitely watch this.

This series is about a failed pair, Beryl and Sapphire, or Blue and Green. You watch as these two in various different parallel worlds meet each other and either fall in love, reject one another, or pass each other by. It’s adorable, sad, funny, and so many other things. It’s an amazing series!

This series is a pretty fun magical story about a man who everyone thinks is weak. It’s fun to watch him prove everyone wrong in thinking that he’s weak and it’s also fun to watch him slowly grow strength. It’s a pretty good series if you’re interested in weak to strong power dynamics in the series.

This series is something I’ve found rather interesting although it’s not something that I’ve watched yet. It’s only ten episodes so it won’t really take long to watch and the romance tag interests me too.

The cover photo and the fact that the male lead looks soft is really appealing me to this series. It’s seems rather fluffy instead of one of those more sadistic love stories. It’s seems cute and it even has twenty-four episodes and a second season instead of just the regular twelve and one season. I’m planning to watch this as soon as possible.

This series is based on a novel in the same universe as Doupo Cangqiong. I had read a bit of the manhua years back and so because I finished the novel for Doupo Cangqiong a year or so ago, I plan to watch this instead of reading this series’ novel. It seems like a good time.

This cute donghua is another romance like Tong Ling Fei. It’s a silly and sweet story donghua about a woman who was a talented chef transported to imperial China inside the body of a woman they call useless. She’s kidnapped and more shenanigans ensue. It’s pretty funny and it’s also really adorable. I prefer Tong Ling Fei but it’s still worth the watch.

Of course I’m going to watch this someday, I mean just look at it. The long black-haired male lead and the whimsical, definitely a romance, atmosphere surrounding them is an immediate must for me as well. I need all of the romance my grubby little hands can get on.

This BL is one that I’ve been planning to watch for a long time. One day, I’m actually going to sit down and watch it and I’m sure I’ll love every minute of it. It seems to be a more political series instead of an action packed one or a fantasy filled one which doesn’t seem too bad to me. It’s gonna be great I’m sure. Well… we’ll see later.
